Ibragimov is pretty cautious, so he might make it past half way

I agree with that. Sultan hit on his formula in the Briggs and the Holyfield fights, and it's the thing that will carry him through for 7 or 8 rounds with Wlad, but it won't ultimately help him. Wlad will finally catch him with some power shots in the 9th or 10th and win by a ko or tko, with the brave Sultan hitting the deck a few times. By the way, who is out there that can beat Wlad? I don't see anyone.

I'm going to say Klitschko on points, with Ibragimov putting up a brave display.

Wlad will win by KO, but people will be surprised how awkward and how long Iggy lasts.

    Wlad by KO.

Iggy (Barney Rubble lookalike) is looking to cash out with this fight IMO

Chagaev & Ibragimov are both southpaws with decent power & good chins and that gives them the best shot of the current beltholders. Peter & Maskaev are big punchers with less skill & speed.

I think this will go the distance, with Wlad well ahead on points of course.

True, but Ibragimov lately has been very passive in the ring.

If he attacks Waldo like he did Ray Austin he *may* win, but i'd still pick Waldo. Basically because Ibragimov couldn't finish Austin, how the hell is he gonna finish Waldo?

I can see Waldo grabbing on for dear life against an aggressive Ibragimov. And I can see Waldo outboxing a passive Ibragimov. Either way this doesn't look good for him, but I'll be rooting for the Sultan of Swing.

Not sure what you mean by "passive" other than not trying for a knockout? Ibragimov doesn't usually stand in front of an opponent and do nothing, but then Chris Byrd doesn't usually do that either. Lets be honest, Klitschko is a very large and very scarey looking guy who often scares the **** out of his victims. Ibragimov has to overcome this and figure out how to win. Defeating Klitschko isn't all that hard to do, lesser men than Ibragimov have done it. As to whether Ibragimov can get the job done remains to be seen.

Before he fought Austin, Ibragimov had no issues with stepping to a bigger man and throwing a straight left. Now you don't see that. Since Austin dropped him he's been on defense mostly, and his left hands come behind a jab.

To beat Waldo he's gonna have to go out like a crazy man, just like Sanders did. He's gonna have to forget the jab and lead with a left under Waldo's own jab.

But likely this new Waldo is gonna just hold on everytime Ibragimov gets close. A ***** way to win for sure, but he'll win doing it. Much to my dismay.
