Tony Thompson is better than people give him credit for. I still think he loses, but I believe the fight will go rounds.

Hmm, Wlad is a major favourite for this fight, but if Thompson will not give up before the fight just like Ibragimov did, he can be a problem for Klitschko. He is very effective, he will keep pressure on Wlad, maybe he can do something in this fight, I hope so...

I think Thompson holds some advantages. He has slightly quicker hands. He has excellent feet and can stay out of range - don't forget that there is basically nothing between them in reach - and he has a good jab of his own (OK, this is not an advantage, he should be outjabbed). I like his guard, it looks technically proficient and the couple of times i've seen him he looks like he's a decent body puncher.

Of course, he's stepping up in class, he hasn't shown he is anything like capable getting passed such an accomplished jab and he has very little power on his punches for such a big HW.

Wlad should win on points. But I don't think it's as hopeless as some are making out, and I don't see a KO - unless Klitschko has had a change of heart regarding his style.

But that's his biggest problem - he does normally win rounds with a consistent jab, but here he is in with a guy with a more consistant jab. If he brings the jab he'll get murdered.

That's a very, very good question.

Klit shits himself of getting punched. Thomposon punches well in combination. This will probably be a safety first perfomance from Klit.

Wlad does not have fast hands, not at all. It's his most over-rated attribute. He is very quick on his feet - for someone his size - and this seems to confuse people.

Have you ever seen Thompson fight? Quicker hands? Excellent feet? LOL

Thompson is slow as hell both in handspeed and footwork he is as flat footed as you can get.

Wlad has KOed 7 of his last 9 opponents a change of style would be for the fight to go 12 rounds.

I also think, that Tiger's hands are little quicker, maybe he can make some advantage with that.

This is another meaningless crap fight that does nothing to further solidify Klitschko's legacy. Pressure is all on him. If he doesn't knock him out, it will be further argument that he's overrated. If he does knock him out, he'll receive little credit for taking on a B guy at best. Just another safe payday.

It's not meaningless, it's a mandatory. It's not just some random schlub.

The poll is so incredibly one-sided though, you're probably right that Wlad won't be picking up much credit if he wins.

The important thing for Wlad is to look like a killer, after the flak from the Ibragimov stinker.
