Usyk did whoop Wlad in sparring years ago but who knows. I take sparring stories with a grain of salt. Some fighters don’t take it seriously. Some may be working on something specific. Some stories exaggerate. So who knows. Think Usyk could hang w anyone he proved it last night as Joshua is no pushover.
Who knows, but I think that movement and those feints would give Wlad fits. Can't praise yesterday's performance enough.
I'd be extremely confident taking Wlad in his prime. I'd take a younger Wlad to beat Joshua too that's for sure.
Wlad has a tendency to get gunshy when an opponent doesn't just fold the cards and try to survive. Usyk would definitely get into Wlad's head, and the pressure would be too much. Usyk wins by close UD, or late stoppage.
Wlad is underrated as heck. He made his mistakes and put up a better effort then Lewis in his biggest losses bar Sanders. Wladmir arguably had the harder reign then Louis...
