I think Tyson woukd be in for a big surprise once he tastes Wlad's power, I think Wlad would be the first to knock him out cold......

 

Will this be the version of Tyson who went 10 rounds in winning a UD vs the ATG Mitch Green or James Tillis?

Or will this be the unstoppable knock out artist Tyson who went 12 rounds in winning a UD vs the ATG Tony Tucker or James Smith?

I am sure lots of people have the likes of Mitch Green, James Tillis, Tony Tucker and James Smith above Wlad in their ATG HW rankings..

Yes Tyson was only not able to stop the very best ATGs in his prime. And Wlad was definitely related below the guys that he was not able to stop.

Can you remind me again when they started drug testing in boxing? Couldnt be until the late 90's.

 

It was not until around 2003 that consistent anti doping programs were in full effect in boxing.

Of course they had the mickey mouse drug tests prior, but there were no big organisations ensuring that all athletes comply with anti doping policies.

True. Most youngsters here in the thread though never saw any "prime" Tyson fights live but only know the 90 second highlight reels and therefore think Tyson was some unstoppable monster who was immune to holding by a bigger man.

 

Incorrect alt. Tucker did very little holding compared to Bonecrusher. You never saw that fight.

 

How about if Tyson can't hit on the break and after the bell? You know how he stuck to the q rules, right?

 

If you actually watched the Smith fight instead of going off hearsay , you'd see Tyson land flush bombs on Smith while his back was on the ropes.
He was holding all night but was still getting caught flush on route to a shut out loss on the cards. Somehow you base a Wlad win off that performance

 

Peak Wlad is two levels above that Smith, that's the point Dunceo.

 

Wlad wouldn't be able to do anything with Tyson but hold and he doesn't have the chin or stamina to hold him all night like Smith.
