Wladimir Klitschko was never in the ring with a fighter like AJ

It's way to early to say just how good Anthony Joshua is until later in his career. For all we know, Joshua could lose his next ten fights all by knockout in the first round and then what? Or he could smash Wladimir apart and become a legend by wiping the while division out in spectacular fashion. 18 fights is way too early to say a veteran like Klitschko hasn't fought anyone like him.

 

That's a two way street, the same can be said for A.J. Never forget Foreman vs Moorer. A.J. has never tasted a right hand like Klitschko's. It is going to be a very interesting fight and I am not counting Wlad out.

After the Molina fight, Joshua admitted that he fancies fighters that will come right to him and try to make the fight and that "negative" fighters are difficult to face. Well, we all know how Wlad fights. He won't give Joshua anything to work with in the early part of the fight.

AJ's stamina is still a big question mark, as is his chin, and I think Wlad's fight plan will be to take him deep and drown him. He might see if he can hurt AJ early, but I highly doubt it as caution is part of his DNA at this point.

When you add in the fact that the pressure will be on Joshua to make the fight on his home soil, it would appear that AJ is the one at the stylistic disadvantage. Of course, all of this assumes that Wlad's reflexes aren't completely gone and I don't think we've had incontrovertible evidence of that so far either way.

 

There's only 2 questions that will be answered Saturday night, and that is:


-How Good is Anthony Joshua
-And how much does Wladimir have left.

I personally think Wlad doesn't have it anymore, and this will be AJ'S coming out party, and I can almost guarantee that most of the guys picking Wlad to win will say he's shot afterwards AND WONT GIVE credit where it's due. Either way full credit to both for making this fight happen.

 

McCline was taller, longer reach, and actually was good.

Wlad has had 68 Pro Fights, a good chunk at World Class level. There is very little he hasn't seen before. However he is 41 years old and been out of the ring for over year, so his chances don't look so good.
