Stiverne was sick and is C level at best.
Saying Povetkin is a tougher test is putting it mildly.

I've been saying the same thing for a while Wlad is correct in his assessment Povetkin is being brutally overrated on this site.

People don't say Povetkin will KTFO1 Wilder because they overrate Povetkin, they say it because they see Wilder as a joke which I clearly disagree. And those who claim Sasha would beat Wlad with a fair referee are not Povetkin fans, they're Klitschko haters.

Stiverne was eating big plates of Sausage Spagetti
and getting gassed after hitting the heavy bag a
couple times... I knew he'd either taken the bribe
money to allow the Bronze Golden Boy to win or
    he just lost interest...

More likely he took the Malick Scott bribe money
and figured he could eat like Butterbean...

Wlad just being diplomatic. Very PC. You have to favor Povetkin. I would say 75/25 or 3-1 odds

Why do you "have to" favor Povetkin. I favor Wilder although I would not be surprised if Povetkin won. If you are looking at the fight as a "boxing expert" and not a hater here is what you see.

Wilder is much taller, more athletic and have more power. I don't think many people would argue those. And he is younger also. Those aren't small things. Those are major advantages.

From Povetkin side you would see he has greater experience and is the better technical fighter. Again those are major advantages.

So looking at it objectively you probably would call it a 50/50 fight. Although personally I think Wilder win.

The only guys I'd favor over Wilder right now would be Anthony Joshua(who I think would beat anybody in world including Wlad) and Wlad.

I would have to favor Povetkin because Wilder has looked pretty bad in two of his last three fights. If you think that's too harsh you can say he has underperformed in two of his last three fights. Meanwhile Povetkin has faced better competition recently and has looked really good in those fights.
Also I for one don't believe Wilder is all that more Athletic. He seems clumsy at times to me and not overly graceful in the ring.
Hopefully they fight early in the new year and we'll all be treated to a good match.

Imagine Povetkin wobbled Wilder like Molina did. He would go after him and knock him out no questions asked. Povetkin is a good finisher.

Wilder may be, and this has yet to be determined, one of those fighters who fights up or down depending on the competition. He looked disciplined and sharp vs Stiverne who most picked to beat him. Against lesser comp he has looked less disciplined and over confident. We'll see how he does the next time he steps up the comp.
