God I hope the betting odds are 50/50 if the fight ever happens. Povetkin would knock him out with a few rounds to spare - he's twice the boxer Wilder is.

Maybe. But not according to the heavyweight champion of the world who has shared a ring with both.

He actually gave Povetkin credit in the same interview and told that he has improved greatly since their fight. Clearly not the case.

Wlad is trying to be very careful while giving his interviews (unlike Vitali who has already spoiled his political carrer) as he tries to correspond to the image they have been creating for years. So I don't believe he'd ever tell what he actually thinks about Povetkin, Wilder or any other fighter.

I wonder what he would figure Pianetta's chances of beating Wilder or Povetkin. Something tells me he would favor Fracesco.

And what a step up - Molina. :D
Klitschko may say whatever **** he want, but i see this fight as 100-0 in favor of Povetkin. Wilder is doomed.
He is not a better athlete then Povetkin for sure, neither boxer or puncher. And he is already scared of Povetkin to death and run like a chicken.
Its normal for Klitschko to say that, because Wilder is the champ. In the reality he knows Povetkin will win.

Yeah, Wilder will get annihilated in this fight. That glass jaw gets shattered for sure.

He also dropped him with jabs and ragdolled him in the ring, then served him a birthday cake and sent him packing.......but he won't directly say that.

I don't think Wlad has a reason to lie or fabricate his opinion about this. He's been in the ring Povetkin and sparred many rounds with Wilder.

While the champ's assessment holds weight, the majority is still justified in believing Povetkin will shatter Wilder's Chin. Povetkin's recent form and level of opposition should see him through.
