Good. I'm glad to hear it. Sure it'd be funny to see him prob beat Whyte or Wilder but his legacy is secure so I don't know why he'd want to step back through the ropes.
Well i was looking forward to what he may have left cuz i felt other than Joshua and Fury i wouldnt rule him out of beating any of the rest even if going 12 rounds was a struggle for him. Hes just so much more in technical ability and ring experience than most of the division but if your legs have gone your legs have gone and he will know. I can fully understand the temptation though, if you love a sport and have played it for a long time and its time to retire you start lying to yourself about being done or not and i can imagine Wlad being in that position now. But where as i think back to playing Rugby and Football hes thinking about going back to training on a level beyond the likes of ballgames and then it all leading to be punched in the face by monsterous punchers i can see how it could be a little easier to pass on. From so many Boxing books and interviews it appears it is mainly when a fighter cant stomach another training camp that they know its maybe time to hang them up.
As excepted. What incentive would he have to make a comeback against titleless scrub like Whyte? Enjoy retirement champ.
No surprise here. Whoever made that “Wlad is coming back to clear out the HW division” claim mustve thought Vitaly is coming back too so that brothers can dominate division once again.
But still there's something going on... https://www.ringtv.com/552496-wladi...ght-deal-with-dazn-that-would-end-retirement/
What is his status with his off-again/on-again flame (and baby mama) Hayden Panettiere? As of August there were "split up but amicable". If he is going on 5-6 months without nutting properly I could see him seeking out another means of blowing off steam, and what could be a more natural outlet than what he did for more than half of his life?
I’m not interested in the fury rematch but I’d pay to see the AJ rematch or a fight with Wilder/whyte
He had second thoughts against Deontay, when he seen the devastating bronze bomber drop the gypsy king twice! Lol something Wlad couldn't do!
