Valuev, Wlad, Chagaev...I don't care. Thee Russians fight boring and have a boring personality. It is what it is, the US is tired of them. They are never or rarely in exciting in exciting fights. Haye is a little different.

Wlad was druged, robbed, raped, jobbed, bias ref, had the cold, flu, AIDS, other than that the main focus will be yeah well Vitali will KO Haye anyway.

I'm no big fan of the Klits and being a Brit i'm hoping that Haye can pull it off. However i simply can't see this going past 3 rounds or even 3 minutes. I can remember the look on Danny Williams' face about 3 seconds into his fight with Vitali when that big jab landed in his face,i think we'll see something similar with this, only Danny had the durability to take a beating for 8 rounds i don't think Haye has. He has no more than the proverbial punchers chance.

I don't think it will last long enough for anyone to "outclass" the other. I think Wlad stops him inside 3 rounds most probably, but Haye has a very live shot at winning in around the same time frame. Someone is getting KOd and it wont be late into the fight.

Haye will be looking to take him out in the first few rounds, either he succeeds or Wlad avoids the attacks and lands clean, in which case...fight over.

Wlad can starch Haye with one flush shot. Haye can drop Wlad with one flush one and then look to finish him off.

Exciting fight, and all the bull**** from Haye is to sell it. There are lines and to me someone like Mayorga crossed the line with Spinks, Haye has not crossed it, it is childish but it is selling the fight. There is a reason why this fight will attract far more interest and viewers than any of Wlads recent defences and it is down to what Haye has done to hype it.

I think that Wlad is so cautious now that the fight may go longer than three. He's all about range and tempo these days, that's his real one-two, controlling those two areas. He'll try to inflict this control upon Haye the same as he has on most of the opponents he's fought since Steward took over. Why wouldn't he? Oddly, this places some power back into Haye's hands. He has time. I he wants to, he can wait. Or, he can charge. Out of these two options, I like waiting better. Haye may learn something. The rythym of the fight itself may surprise us, this happens now and again, take Sanchez-Nelson for an example - or Douglas v Tyson!

There are a ****-load of inflection points in this fight. I think it will be absolutley fascinating. Last time I looked forwards to a HW contest this much was Lewis-Vitali, and the nationality of the fighters involved has nothing to do with it. A genuinely interesting contest.

You see, if Haye takes too much time on the outside trying to figure out a way in, Wlad will of course get off first with long straight punches. Haye can't wait, or he'll end up like Brewster in the rematch. David needs to take the initiative and get off first, or else it will be a typical Klitschko fight.

"Typical Klitschko fight" - yes, that's exactly the worry, but I don't agree that you have to take away the range and tempo from Wlad in the first round. Haye has genuine speed and can genuinely hit. That's a nice combination if you are in with an slipping fighter. But rushing a power-puncher with superior reach gets you KO'd.

Not at all,i realise the example i've used is Vitali, but whether Wlad or Vitali it doesn't really matter the outcomes the same.

Not rushing. Moving forward while using head movement and body punches. The plan should be to provoke Klitschko to throw punches and to be readyto slip them and quickly get into firing range and there work the body first and foremost. Klitschko uses two kinds of shots for stopping - his jab and his left hook that is sometimes thrown almost like an uppercut. Haye's task is to find a way around it and find it quickly. This isn't such an impossible strategic challenge, at least it shouldn't be for his camp.
