I can't believe so many people are forgetting about Wladimir Klitschko like he retired or something.

He will KO AJ then KO Ortiz and then you will know how great this ATG really is.

People are discounting him because he was super gun shy vs Fury and didn't look all that great in his bouts previous to that either. Plus he's now 40+ and not had a fight in over a year.

Not if he faces the Viking! If this man gets in shape he'll clear out the heavyweight division!

Let me break this down for you. Price: he's clearly got a jackhammer right hand, and probably right up there with the biggest single punch power in boxing today. That's the positive, a big one as is his pure size and presence.

However, he cannot hold a shot, (see the 1st link from his DEBUT fight where a journeyman 'powered him down' with a jab) and has awful stamina. The stamina issue relates to a far bigger problem for Price, he burns up way too much nervous energy in fights. He totally lacks a fighter's mentality (see the 2nd link with an opponent static and on the ropes, Price just stands off despite the ref having yet to step in - imagine what Haye would do here) and also lacks confidence meaning he freezes on the big stage.

This tension badly saps his energy, and this was clearly evident in his second loss to Thompson where he totally gassed by round four. He still jumps around on the balls of his feet despite the fact there is no way someone of that weight could sustain 12 rounds against high caliber opponents doing this. And when the heat is on, he goes into his shell and paws with his jab when an authoritative one would dictate fights for him. In essences he's had 21 fights and still boxes like a novice. All of this explains why he will never cut it at the highest level. Sorry, but that's the harsh reality.
