Officials for the WWE were so impressed with the wrestling skills displayed on the July 2nd heavyweight title unification bout, that they have decided to bestow upon Wladimir the title of honorary WWE heavyweight wrestling champion emeritus. In a statement just released by Vince McMahon, Chairman & CEO of the WWE states 'It is unusual for such a title to be awarded, however, after my associates brought to my attention the magnificent skills the 6' 7" boxer displayed in his 12rd point win, which culminated in the truly stunning 12th round headlock and subsequent throw down the decision was made for me'. As yet, there has been no formal anouncement made by the Klitschko camp, however, sources close to the camp say that this anouncement is most welcome as Wladimir is concerned that his big brother, Vitali Klitschko, in holding the WBC belt and considered by many people not confined to padded cells to but the better, stronger, more durable champion makes the younger sibling look like a paper champion.
