Only on ESB do boxers get so much crap for winning.

Wlad would probably struggle a little bit with Gomez, but he'd still win.

Jesus christ, the Wlad hate is ridiculous. What the hell do you people want? You find his every victory an excuse of some sort of horrible a champion he is

    The KO wasnt fast enough

    the opponent was a bum

the KO wasnt fast enough and the opponent was a bum

He doesnt have enough killer instinct (ignore that he has 8 KOs in his last 10 fights)

He should have gone for broke (despite winning EVERY round)

He is robotic (lands punches at 40% connect)

He is a coward (has openly challenged every single titleholder)

And now this bull****. Gomez wouldnt have done **** but get caught with Wlads jab (Wlad is faster than Vitali) and get tagged with Right hand leads all night before getting decked and counted out.

Landing 60% of your punches and battering a guy pillar to post while winning every round on the cards isnt good enough.

A real champion would have thrown 100 punches and knocked him out in the first round, and then talked mad **** during the interviewer and called half the division cowardly ***gots, then banged on his chest and given a shout out to his hometown.

Since being a sportsman and gentleman doesnt mean ****. Its all about fighting wild and attitude.

I despair sometimes. If Wlad was American he would the saviour of boxing. Instead he is the Russian that apparently is too polite and too skilled for anyone's taste.

I think Wladimir may struggle early on against Gomez but would end up laying him out faster than Vitali did.

Vlad would have outboxed Gomez and knocked him out. He used to outbox Gomez in the gym years ago, so did Vitali. Gomez would knock Haye out though. I saw Vlad win the gold medal in Atlanta, GA back in 1996, he is still winning.

Gomez is not so good as Byrd was. And Gomez had no punch. Wlad would KO him in better fashin than his old brother.

    Wlad by TKO round 7.

No. Vitali could not KO a bad tired Gomez.

Wlad is a much more better boxer and puncher!

I read that Gomez will try to win the WBA title, so I guess we will never know. I like both Klitschkos.

How has the news been in Germany lately?

Vitali sold out. Vlad will also sell out. I think they are doing great!!!!!!!

Haye was overrated. I swear to god, expect a half dozen threads espousing that Haye is not a true HW and that the KO was expected by everyone with a brain.

Its enfuriating. Wladimir is the premiere HW in the world, a world class gentleman and possess ATG skills, no one wants to give him credit for anything.

Gomez has not achieved a lot at heavyweight. Being KOD twice and only getting past McCall with a lot of trouble. Toney would beat Gomez.
