Floyd gets the #1 P4P spot by winning, not in good fashion, but he kept winning and earned his #1 P4P spot. He got a shedload of credit.

Wladimir keeps winning and is the best heavyweight out there, earns his #1 spot and is hated by the majority of Americans.

Can we all agree it has racism written all over the hatred? :think

Money is in a different league to Wladimir, PBF fought the best, Wlad fights the worst.

Should Wladimir get really tanned, and take lessons from Edison Miranda in pre-fight talk to win over the American crowd? :think

Wlad fights whoever is in front of him, obviously that's all he can do.

Remember, Tyson was P4P #1 for nearly two years, he didn't fight anyone really solid up untill Spinks :think

He is a white Ukrainian/Russian that speaks German and doesnt have a flashy go-for-broke style.

He is immensely skilled but the American sports fan is jaded and only wants to see KOs. Likewise the idea of a foreigner from the former USSR being HW Champion is not really that appealing and idea.

I dont think its racism so much as nationalism.

I do think though that probably most black americans that are casual boxing fans would be turned off to Wlad, simply because he is a "White guy" beating up "black guys".

Im sure there are people that will disagree, but there is truth to this.

Yeah, but you know PBF is just miles better, I mean Wlad needs to come to America, fight more americans and stuff, then maybe he will become a great fighter.

wladimirs nowhere near as talented as floyd and wins on his size alone which is why he's not in anyones p4p lists.

I honestly don't understand what the poor guy's gotta do to get respect. He has beaten everybody they put in front of him. If he knocks someone out they just say his opponents suck or are shot. If he boxes they call him boring. They also are now calling him a "ducker". I don't see people calling PBF or other not so exciting fighters boring. I think Wlad is not the greatest ever obviously but he should get some more respect. He's no bum either.

Wlad could be good, but unless you are liked in america you will never be a great boxer.

Wlad is personable, he fights anyone that is put in front of him, he does not have a record of ducking other fighters. He has been an ultra dominant champion for years end. Sure he's had a few lack lustre performances like the Ibragimov fight, but it's all about winning is it not?

PBF had Baldomir, Wlad had Ibragimov... great fighters have less- stellar performances.. thats just the way it is.
