yeah agreed. And wlad lost those fights, and that is generally the lasting impression he has on people
Agree on Vitali. He has really weak resume. Wlad's resume, however, is much better. A lot of his fights were boring - can't disagree with that. But why then you like Lennox so much? He had a lot of boring fights as well (not as much as Wlad of course) - Tua fight was awully boring, my uncle literally felt asleep while watching that boredome. Mavrovic fight was boring as well, Akinwande fight was beyond boring. And against old Holyfeld and shot Tyson Lennox was holding his opponents in Wladimir's proportions. So I can't understand why you love Lennox so much while hating Wlad at the same time. I'd understand that if you were a fan of Holyfield or Bowe who never were in the boring fights in their primes, who risked a lot, who didn't hold/clinch awfully a lot like Wlad and Lennox did
Great fighter but my god were his fights boring. It'd be fine if we was competing in this current era but when the only elite boxing you see at heavyweight was his jab jab grab, it killed the division.
Lennox could do it all. Look at how he dealt with tommy Morrison, Briggs, golota, grant, vitali. he could box, maul, get nasty and wouldn’t be afraid to get rid of his man early wlad only had one style that worked. Whenever he got into a dog fight he got his clock cleaned
It's absolutely comical beyond words how anyone could ever, ever ever, in a million years have Bootleg D beating Wlad and I've heard many claim he would. That's a 2 round fight tops. The gulf in class, skill, technique, footwork, boxing ability you name it between them is absolutely gargantuan and I honestly think Wlad could spark him out in 2 rounds with just the jab alone if he wanted to. If he used both hands he could take him out in a round with ease 10 times out of 10. Bootleg D can't box to save his life and anytime someone sticks a jab in his face he looks completely lost and clueless at how to defend against it and he hasn't fought anyone with a jab even half as good as Wlad's.
If he retired after Fury, it would be a bad look, even with all that Fury has since accomplished, simply because of the way Klitschko lost. That performance was shameful, and there's no amount of lipstick to put on that swine to make it any less the big ugly hog it was. He utterly redeemed himself with the nobility of his effort in the AJ defeat, however. Just showing his face in public - after having castrated himself against Fury - and merely entering the ring was a bad ass move in and of itself, and then he put on a FOTY contender? Respect.
