Wlad was all over Euro level Hayes back piece , not only in the 12th , but throughout the whole fight. He lost a point for it in the 9th round.
When Ali fought the rubber match against Joe , he was forbidden from clinching. Wlad should have been made rematch Povetkin and fight properly because that fight was an absoulte farce and 100% deserved to be ruled a NC. Memeber when Akawany was DQ'd against Lewis?? Wlad resembled Akawadny more than Lewis. He won that Povektin fight doing what Akawandy done against Lewis.

Imagine Wlad getting hit by Sanders for 10 rounds. Thats what the Scmheling fight looked like.
Louis could get hit and attack back immediately after wards. He had good powers of recovery.
Louis got up faster than he went down against Galento and when he rose he absolutely annihilated him.

 

Exactly. He was rocked more times than Tomasz Adamek and by guys who wouldn't even be cruiserweights nowadays.

yeh that too, you got me there. BUT we have to give that a free pass for the hypothetical fight to happen. so no duh u didnt get me there.

no way on earth u gonna get sanders in shape good enough to pound for 10 rounds. you gonna give sanders a free pass to be a "hypothetical sanders too".

oh u already did anyway, becos hes not ATG killer, hes a failed but decent prospect when in his absolute prime.

 

Not as bad as people made it out to be. In my opinion, it wasn't bad at all. Average, sure, but bad, definitely not. People forget that iron chins in the heavyweight division are few and far between. A guy with that much mass and power hitting you, and a good chin will get dented from time to time. Wlad was never out cold that I saw. As a matter of fact, he got up when Sanders was nailing him, and also when Peter dropped him with a rabbit punch, and a shot to the face. People with bad chins would have been KO'd by those shots. He got up when Joshua tagged him, and took some helacious shots from Joshua. Somebody with a glass jaw would have been KO'd. So no Wlad didn't have a bad chin. It wasn't a great chin, but not bad at all.

 

Compare those names to Purrity, Sanders, Sam Peter, Brewster.

I've seen Vlad hit extremely hard, his chin if find...................hell, Vitali had the best chin in boxing and he is Vlad's brother!
