He is also a real student of the game as well and loves his job he often says boxing is like a chess game its more thinking.:yep

He is a stand up guy a great model for youngsters who want to be champions the way he has dominated the heavyweight scene is truly remarkable for me he will go down as the greatest ever heavyweight or top 3

no heavyweight has dominated like DOCTOR STEEL HAMMER FACT!

It is his great mis-fortune that the other outstanding heavyweight of his era was Vitali Klitschko, his brother who he could not fight.

He also barely overlapped with Lewis of course, but that one never got made either.

Dominance in that case becomes a strong word.

But he's been the best, in my estimation, for a very long time.

That fight actually happened, Wladimir Klitschko was winning wide on the scorecards when the fight was stopped in the first round.

well, fury dominates fat boys too. So does wilder. And though I detest them both, neither has been destroyed in seconds by a retiree yet nor anything close to that poor a performance.

having said that there plenty of time for that to happen to them so lets wait and see if either of them can be that bad.

Fights in the worst HW era in history which he split in half with his brother who took on the styles not suited to him and avenged all his losses.

Has every advantage over his opponents yet has to cheat and foul consistently to win.

I'm not a fan, but becoming so dominant after being ko'd so badly multiple times is very impressive.

I have a huge amount of respect for Wlad, and he's a great fighter.

But IMHO, although there's some interesting and exciting matches to be made out there, this era of HW's is weak.

The question you have to ask, is this:

Would Wlad have been as dominant, in other eras?

    I'll have to say no.

He couldn't have gone ten years undefeated, in any era within the last 50 years.

Would Wlad have had the same dominance in the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's?

Could he have beaten the Lewis of the early 00's? He's been dominant since 2004. Which deserves a lot of respect. But he hasn't beaten any great fighters, and I don't think that today's top 20 is strong overall.

I always liked Wlad. Frustrated by him sometimes but his results speak for themselves over the years, although I think he is definitely beatable due to chin issues. But he has always been a class act and carried himself well. A credit to the game
