It's an over played joke that stopped being funny weeks ago. Wlad's a nice guy... but his whole speech during the press conference was frankly cringeworthy.
It's because Wlad knows... and Wlad knows that Haye knows... and Haye knows that Wlad knows why Haye won't shake his hand.:yep It's because Haye's hands will slip into the cracks and grooves of Wlad's hands like silly putty crushing and molding until Wlad decides to let go or David cries.
yea i agree it was funny the first time he did it. he's gone wayyyyy overboard with it now, let it go wlad!
It embarrasses Haye and that is why he keeps doing it. Everyone with a brain knows that Haye doesn't want to shake his hand because it's like an adult shaking hands with a baby. Haye, already being extremely uncomforablt, nervous and anxious is scared to death that it may give Wlad some sort of mental edge and take even more away from himself. So, he refuses to shake hands, sighs, huffs, and puffs like a bratty teenage girl while Wlad talks, shows up late, refuses to be in the same room with Wlad on other shows, wears sunglasses, ect... it all REEKS of insecurity. That along with now complaining about the ref, talking about the WBA title not being on the line, and getting a member of his team to try and argue with Manny and trying to disrupt Wlad's pre-fight preperations in his dressing room. Wlad can counter all of this by sending Vitali to Haye's dressing room before the fight. That way Haye will already have a steady stream of **** coming down his leg before he even enters the ring.
I had to laugh at the guy from Hayes team asking manny steward to shake hands and manny told him to beat it , then he did the magic hand LOL
Wlad knows his hands dwarf Haye's, and it will handicap Haye abit mentally if he is to squeeze it a little hard. So Haye pulls back, acting as if he aint scared, but just being disrespectful. It was a "little" funny at first, but yeah, it's got old fast because Wlad doesn't know how to keep it quirky like it was when it first started.
I feel the same way. It's awkward to watch and listen to a grown man get so tripped up by something so small.
It reminds me of someone who thinks he has a solid stomach and keeps asking everyone to punch him in the stomach.Vladimir is starting to seem like someone who relys on pre-fight intimidation wayyyyy too much.
