Wladimir Klitschko's next opponent?

Discussion in 'British Boxing Forum' started by LewisTKO6Vitali, Sep 14, 2010.

  1. Anyone read the article on bscene the other day? Wlad wants to have a fight in December and possible opponents are Mormeck, Solis, Boytsov, Tua and Adamek.

Can't see it being Adamek since he already has a fight scheduled. What if its Mormeck? :-:)tired

I don't see a problem with any of them other than Tua, who needs to give it up.

He's not going to fight his brother, Haye is tied up with Harrison..... Adamek would be the best choice but I think he's waiting for Haye/Vitali.

The division really is that bad, and he's chinned nearly everybody else

  4. Mormeck would be horrible though, the others would be alright. After Tua's last fight it'd be quite possible Wlad stops him. Imagine all the Klitschko fans going around bragging Wlad was the first to stop Tua :-(

I would not be surprised if the the winner of Sexton-Chisora ends up getting a shot at one of the Klits next year. If Sosnowski and Kevin Johnson got a shot...

There are no really decent fights left to be honest. He actually needs Haye more than Haye needs him at this stage IMO.

How do you work that out? Why does Haye not need him? His heavyweight career is seen as a joke to most boxing fans right now

As for Wlad- good he's keeping active but Mormeck would be a disgusting opponent.

Boystov is the best available challenger.

mormeck and tua would be laughable opponents. unfortunately none of these prospective fights will be very competitive.

thats the problem with the HW division...its so weak, prospects can be fast-tracked to a title shot and then they run into a Klit well before they are ready.

    Mormeck would be Foreman-Qawi II.

  13. I thought that was a decent fight, Qawi went for it but he was too old/fat/short.

Wlad-Mormeck would be horribly one-sided and boring.

I want to see him fight Mormeck just to see what kind of job he can do on him compared to Haye.

Not a bad fight but the physical matchup was far too one-sided. Other than being too old/fat/short Qawi would have pissed that fight.;)
