A good Wlad thread is like the Bat Signal to Dino... Sometimes I post one just because I miss him.

Wilder who reigned from 2015 to 2020 is a reason the titles haven't been fully unified for 25 years?

    That's not the argument here.

You said Wilder ducked Klischko and was "clearly open about it" despite saying he wanted to fight Klitscko multiple times. Even if he had no intentions of fighting Klitschko (which isn't proven at all), he was not remotely "open about it".

I don't care that you hate Wilder, but let's stick to the facts.

Gomez basically sat out in 2006 after the cocaine scandal, and then went the WBC route with McCall (interim WBC title), and Vryches (WBC eliminator) before Vitali. The stars didn't line up for a fight with Wlad who was basically fighting more deserving opponents. It would've made more sense earlier but Gomez got stopped in a random fight and then failed a drug test after the McCall fight.

Wladimir Klitschkos title reign was legitimately good. He basically fought everyone who was relevant except for his brother which is understandable

Fair enough. It's a bit of picking at straws at the end of a day - not easy to fight every single solid contender in any era.
