Boxing fans should appreciate a champion who doesn't want to price out the fans.

Not only is 6 fights not possible...It'd be way to much on anyone these days. 6 times a year...That'd be one fight every 2 months. At one time that used to happen (even more regularly), but your really taking a chance of getting hurt.
Let's just say Wlad goes up against Haye. Haye fans think Haye's gonna crack that chin, blah, blah. Let's say Wlad wins a very close fight, and does get busted up. 2 months down the road he's gonna fight Povetkin? I'm sure he'll have to rest for at least 2 weeks after a beatdown. So, he has 6 weeks to train for Povetkin, watch tapes, study him, while still healing from the last fight. So, he fights Povetkin (different fighter than Haye), and he squeezes another one out. Then, he has to fight Arreola, and do it all over again within 2 months?!
You kidding me?! He'd get hurt for sure in no time. Maybe that's what you guys are looking for.....Doesn't seem like there's anybody to beat him. SO, have everybody beat him ;)

I would have liked to see in 2009:

    march - Wlad vs Valuev
    july - Wlad vs Chagaev
    november - Wlad vs Povetkin

That way Wlad would unificate one more belt and face 3 current top 5 HWs.

Well, by now it seems what we will have is:

    april/may - Wlad vs Haye
    august - Wlad vs Povetkin
    November - Wlad vs Arreola/Dimitrenko

Well, all the options are pretty good, the second list includes names who are all top 10 HWs and we should get some exciting HW fights.

I'd be happy with Wladimir fighting 3 fights next year, Arreola, Povetkin, snd Haye.

Haye is for sure June and Wlad cannot fight anyone but Povetkin from September on. He could fight Arreola in March/April

He should fight twice, at this level of competition it would be risky for his health. If if he does decide to fight 3 times, it should be in 3-4 months intervals. As he'll need to properly prepare for each opponent, can't really see him doing it though, unless it's mandatory...

Course it is possible.......if you keep reading the posts you will understand what im talking about. I said.......Vlad hasnt been involved in a war or taken that many punches since Sept 2005.........if you have a hard time like he did with Peter......then it justifies having 4 months off after.......but if youve had an ecounter just like his one against Sultan or Rahman......i cant see why the guy cant fight two months after.

Tyson fought on PPV in Sept and Nov against Seldon and Holyfield.....2 months........2 huge PPV in 1996.
