hopefully the jabbering Haye makes Wlad extra motivated and brings him back to the intense Wlad everybody took notice of.....Wlad vs Mercer.

Wladimir is going to be highly motivated and he shouldn't try being someone he is not.

David Haye is not the first loud mouth to come along and predict that he is going to knockout the Klitschkos and he wont be the last.

All Wladimir has to do is go out and fight his fight. Stick behind the jab, make Haye eat punches for real estate, and he will stop him in four rounds.

I prefer fighters to give a little trash talk after the fight, rather than before it.

That way, we have context and meaning.

Vitali's comments on Peter are a good example.

What Haye is trying to do is clever in theory, but I don't think it will work. Wlad is far too professional to let it.

I can see Wlad methodically picking Haye apart and stopping him mid to late rounds.

Wlad is conducting himself calmly with class. I wouldn't put too much weight into these prefight antics. Waldimir better bring his jab and his A-game come fight night.

I'm just glad to have a heavyweight fight that we can look forward to!

Exactly, and we dont know how Wlad takes to "crazy people". We know Liston was bothered by it but Wlad might not give 2 shits.

haye is not the first person to run their mouth at either one of the Klitschko Brothers. Both brothers take it all with a grain of salt and literally let their fists do the talking in the ring. No different will be the same on June 20th because haye is going to be overcome by the size, speed and strength of Wlad.

Haye IS pretty unknown in germany. If he can really pull an upset it might change, but I doubt that :D

I love a good pre-fight mental war! It's an art that the oldskool fighters mastered and that the current hw beltholders lack dearly.
The current beltholders are pathetic when you look at their skills in pre-fight mental warfare (with the klitschkos at the very bottom. They hardly speak and when they do speak, it is something uninspiring and meaningless. And people are still wonder why the general public cant connect with them?).

Haye is an unproven fighter in the hw division who doesn't really deserve a shot. But his mental warfare is definately in the top: "jab...jab...jab....grab. Jab...jab...jab....grab. Somewhere in the end he might throw a right if he feels brave". That definitely hurts....because it has a lot of truth in it. Wlad's fights reminds me of a scared fighter who has flashbacks of Sanders when he is in the ring and wets his pants at the start of every round.

    What's your point?

I'd guess that Haye's tactics are 95% about selling tickets and only 5% about getting into Wlad's head. i.e. he knows it's unlikely to phase Wlad, but if it does, all the better

Plus, if he can get Wlad to react, it could be better for ticket sales.
