Nothing fishy about the fight. Wlad set a fast pace and was wasting a lot of energy, even when he wasn't punching he was jumping about on his toes or wrestling with Brewster. He went for the KO at the end of the 4th and punched himself out. He got caught with 2 big left hooks and was legitimately knocked out.

He has since corrected these errors and fights in a much more relaxed manner.

A case of nerves is something every fighter experiences.
The bigger the fight, the bigger the case of nerves.

Ray Leonard for instance has described that he often times had the runs right before his fights.

In this case of Wlad vs Brewster, if Wlad had a case of the nerves, it was in the early going......

......but once you start to settle in and the punches start to fly, the nerves leave you and an adrenaline rush takes over you.
Wlad was putting beating on Brewster, the nerves were way gone by then......

You said it in your first post, "Fatigue makes cowards of us all.".......that was'nt nerves, it was fatigue.

Yes, Wlad has learened to deal with it since then.
The way he's dealt with it has been to become the safety first fighter that he is today.

Since being KO'd by Brewster, Wlad has become nothing but a safety first fighter that bores the heck out of fans trying to watch the early to mid rounds of his fights.

Yes, Wlad has learned, dont gass, or you will pay.

It was a combinations of nerves, fatigue and anxiety.

The thing with people like Ray Leonard is some guys are born fighters, who know how to deal with and suppress their nerves. The adrenaline works for them, but it wasn't the case with Wladimir.

He didn't know how to overcome the nerves and fight beyond the fatigue. He's learnt, that's the point!

IMO Wlad shot his load too early, started to gas out,,,, and when Brewster not only withstood the barrage, but started attacking and landing some nice shots, ol' Wladdy started having flashbacks, and basically crumbled from a massive anxiety attack!

    Just a theory.

Can we please put this to rest...Wlad was not drugged at all..He just wasted his energy and didnt have much left in the tank..Wlad should have set a better pace for himself in that fight (in which he clearly didnt)

Saying he was drugged is just some pathetic excuse IMO.

Only thing Wlad was drugged on was Brewster constant pressure and left hooks.

Yeah the fight was weird, something def looked wrong with Wlad that night... he didn't look like he knew where he was! I'd guess at a medical problem rather than drug conspiracy though, perhaps he wasnt hydrated right and gassed hard under the hot lights. Low blood sugar levels as someone said could be a possibility, still didn't look normal though.

there absolutely was some kind of external influence on that fight. Rememberm, how the betting odds changed drastically, lowering in Brewster's favor. Somebody knew something. Wlad was indeed poisoned by some kind of chemical. This is one of those stories which we will never know the truth. SOmething very fishy and unethical happened in this fight.
