Agreed. I know there are exceptions, but when they are friends, chances are the fight will be the suck.

wlad would have knocked vitali out or won a clear decision. wlad is much faster much more skilled better defense better punch. vitali is slow ackward, lacks heart, throws arm punches, lacks top defense. who did vitali ever beat that was good and in shape?

It would not be a battle, it would be a WALKOVER! Vitali Klitschko was so so much better than Wlad. He lost twice- once to an injury v C Byrd, once to an injury while ahead v the best heavyweight since the early 80s. Wlad has been KO'd by average fighters. Would Vitali have been so pitiful against Ibragimov and Thompson?

    The proof?? CORRIE SANDERS.

    Wlad doesn't like to fight.

Just imagine him against his brother. It would be Akinwande - Lewis all over again.

Vitali was stopped by lewis on cuts and never went down and was still very much in the fight, in fact he was leading rounds 4-2. Lewis was a better fighter than wlad. I dont think Wlad would have performed that well with Lewis, wlad would have gotten KTFO if he took the uppercut that Vitali did

I agree. I always rated Vitali over Wlad when they were both up and coming prospects. Wlad was more asthetically pleasing to watch and the better natural athlete but he made so many amateurish mistakes. He used to bounce around on his feet like a novice doing an Ali impression. Vitali is a less dynamic fighter but adapted to the pro game much faster and as proven in his fight with Lewis has the heart of a true fighter and even under pressure knows how to protect himself and grit it out.

Wlad would have done some damage early but Vitali is stronger and could withstand his brothers attack and fight back and his punches would eventually get to Wlad at some point. Vitali is an excellent finisher when he has an opponent hurt and Wlad would definately get hurt at some point.

Follow me on this one. It gets a bit crazy but there's a method to my madness. I have a RIDICULOUS fantasy scenario that could inject new life into heavyweight boxing. A guaranteed 2 million PPV buys and with a proper undercard perhaps the "Ressurection of Boxing". This is a bit "Vince McMahon-ish" but boxers (euros in particular) are no stranger to corruption and conspiracy.

Wlad unifying the crown is part of this equation. While he is busy unifying, Vitali is keeping busy KOing tomato cans like Ron Bellamy and Zuri Lawrence. All the while a "storyline" is being developed, driving a wedge between Wlad & Vitali. Neither are present at each others fights and Vitali in a series of interviews and press conferences is showing jealousy and bitterness about his little brother's success. After much buildup it climaxes in a shoving match at a press conference with Mama Klitschko hysterically crying between them (she would need an acting class or 2 first). The next day it is announced that Wlad & Vitali will square off at MSG for the undisputed HW title. Promoters hype the **** out of this Brother v. Brother matchup. Wlad paws for 5 rounds, dancing circles around older brother Vitali and then gets caught with a vicious uppercut (as per the SCRIPT) and Vitali Klitschko is the undisputed HW champion of the world. Vitali then retires, goes into politics and Wlad regains the throne and the Klitschkos are the only brothers to hold the undisputed HW crown.

    No one gets hurt.
    Everybody wins.
    BOXING IS SAVED!!!
