Apparantlty, Purrity, Brewster and Sanders were in pretty good shape when the fought Wladimir too.

You have a good point. Byrd was in good shape for both his bouts with Wladimir too.

 

hes a former light heavyweight. he has zero power as a heavyweight. he is one of the shortest opponents ever to face wlad. he has NO CHANCE. and he is almost 40 and hasnt fought in 15 months. thats why :rofl

really? so its a body building contest based on photos? wlad is just giving compliments to mormeck based on physical appearance?

"best physical shape" in terms of describing how your opponent looks or is looking in boxing is always used to describe how seriously he has taken the fight and how hard he has trained thus giving him the possible possible chance to win.

why do you think they say "if arreola comes in better shape he can probably win"
or when someone weighs in very heavy at a weigh in his chances go down to win because he hasnt trained properly.
this has everything to do with his chances even though they dont matter

 

ummm yeah..... i realize this was the only guy that was really available at the time who would fight him, others turned him down, others are not ready ....so yeah..its better than nothing.....

 

It is pretty obvious but I will explain it to you anyway. Purrity, went nearly a complete fight with Wladimir and it was Wladimir who became gassed and was KOed. Brewster out punched and out lasted Wladimir to KO him. Sanders, didn't need to be in great shape to starch Wladimir so that could be debatable.
