Because we all know he sure doesn't need a payday..

There's no real need for him to face Joshua....

He could quite easily just throw a load of money at Joseph Parker to go to Germany for a easy victory to regain a belt

I think Wlad is 100% certain he's gonna KO Joshua..

Hes been chasing Joshua for awhile now. I think he said it as early as this year. Had Wlad not lost to Fury, I think Wlad wouldve given Joshua a shot at some stage this year already. Wlad sees something in Joshuas boxing that he likes.

Whyte's last three opponents took far more from him and weren't in anything like that much trouble. Joshua can be knocked out.

Guys I like Wlad, but looking at someones confidence is not really a great predictor at how a fight plays out. Wlad was supremely confident going into the Fury fight.

yeah but to so confidentwith a big puncher like AJ though.....

Wlad is the boxing expert not anyone on here.. he must see major holes in Aj's game that he will easily exploit, maybe AJ got dropped numerous times when he was in the Klitschko camp.

Wlad NEEDS this fight for himself . I KNOW HW boxing and KNOW a win on Joshua seals his legacy .....ONE problem ,CAN he win ? What many forget is Wlad was ready to wanting to promote Joshua and be his advisor not to long ago , whst Wlad needs to do now is defeat a seemingly (on paper) a worst match up for him. Some ppl cant grasp how great Joshua actually is ........ im not one of those ..... to put it simply ....IF Wlad wins he will undoubtedly be the BEST HW of all time .

Joshua throws the right hand and then brings it all the way back with it pointing vertical. It is almost as if he is admiring his own work.
If he has not corrected that bad habit since the amateurs then what else has become habitual for him? Obviously a guy as smart as Wladimir sees far more than my casual eyes.

Also, look at Wladimr at the press conference, he looks very healty, big and has obviously kept in shape (he had two Fury rematch training camps too so he is not as rusty as people think).

    The questions I have are:

Can WK still pull the trigger?

Can he neutralise AJ's typical fast start and control the fight at his own pace with the jab? He did it to the much bigger Wach and softened Pulev up similarly too.

I've been wondering about this too, but I don't think he'd take this fight if he didn't have his straight right sunday punch right?

He'll always have his left hook.

No, he just doesn't want to go out on the Fury fight, and sees AJ as both the most lucrative option and the win most likely to add to his historical standing. 50/50 fight, not sure who I'm rooting for yet, except I really hope if Wlad loses he doesn't embarrass himself, but I suspect he will.

Wlads legacy is already complete, he dominated the division for over a decade and beat everyone

I doubt he will get too much respect after he Ko's Joshua, they'll just say Joshua hadn't fought anyone and his chin hadn't been tested.

When AJ throws his jab his right hand drops, he has minimal upper body movement and the step up in class will be a shock for him. I think he will struggle to get inside and land his bombs. If wlad can control the pace he can control the fight. And if wlad does win wich I think he does it will truly show how great fury was.

he does seem more confident about this fight than fury in my opinion, he seemed a bit unnerved about Fury, he might not have felt he could lose but he was spooked by the behaviour. He likes this friendly kind of buildup, he feels in full control and is kind of treating AJ like a student, at times speaking for him, it seems like he has the mental edge already which counts for something. Fury and Haye didn't allow that, they kept Wlad uncomfortable, he couldn't deal with the disrespect. right of wrong I feel those tactics helped as a mental side of it, confidence has to count when you get in there, Klit feels like the master in this fight, the question is will the event get to Joshua.

A shirtload of money and a very good chance to get 2 belts back. Definitely the best choice for him.

Those fans dont know what there talking about ,the win would be far greater than had Vitali defeated Lewis . IF Wlad loses you wont ever in all likely hood see Joshua lose .
