Why doesn't Haye fire his incompetent manager Adam Booth? Looks like Booth messed up the entire "unification fight" plan with his inept planning.

 

Why blame Booth? The fight was as good as signed and good to go. The only way it could be cancelled was if Wlad took a fight before Haye, which he did.

Booth admittedly came up with this grand scheme of playing "hard to catch" with the brothers for two years and then -out of the blue - all of a sudden to be open mind about "really wanting" to fight the brothers. Right before Haye's self imposed retirement date.

This grand scheme of only allowing the risky Klitschko fights right at the end of Haye's career appears to be Booth's plan and it seems its blowing right up in Haye's face. Who's he going to fight now if he still wants to cling to his ridiculous retirement plan? Chagaev? And then who? Holyfield?

What Booth never understood from day one is that Bönte is from Hamburg, an old city of merchants with a very long tradition. Up in the German north business is usually sealed with a handshake, that's it. Your good word and your honesty are your signature. Once you **** somebody off, once your're exposed as an untrustworthy piece of **** you're outlawed and nobody in the city will ever do business with you again.

Booth ****ed up by messing up the business relationship with Bönte in 2009 for signing with Sauerland and the situation can't be remedied by Booth offering his fake smile into the Sky Sports camera now.

with regards to your second question unles it is right before his retirment? haye set a retirement date of oct 2011 mid 2007-2008 (publicly) but he doesnt make the dates he fights he merely requests them and it is the broadcaster who is responsible for the fight calender. right before his retirement makes the insinuation that he wanted to fight then get out. until he has unified the titles he will remain in hw boxing this is what i feel and if he doesnt he wouldnt go down as a ducker in my eyes. Wlad klitchko doesnt fare well with fighters who can counter his defence with speed and power vitali without doubt is a far more formidable heavyweight than his brother who at times needs confidence building ***** slaps from manny steward during fights.

Referring to the 2009 deal in such a dramatic and exaggerated fashion does not make your claims that it was adam booths fault True nor has he ever publicly admited that he was at fault 100% if he is guilty of anything after the 1st fight cancellation it was strengthening his(Hayemaker) bargaining power by claiming the wba belt so he(Hayemaker) went to the table as a world champion. he never shook bernde's hand he dealt with shelly finkle who dealt with hayemaker on both occasions this was one of booths main complaints that K2 didnt speak directly. on the second occasion Goldenboy promotions were factored in on the haye side and sauderland to deal with tv rights and promotional issues in germany. we all know why it didnt happen and we all know hayemaker would have fought for nothing in 2009 and probably would have had to pay his own way there and back after his main purse backer collapsed in the days before but the second fight falling through didnt happen because K2 didnt compromise a few weeks they have already came out and said so.

Well considering K2s history of negotiating it's a little hypocritical to blame someone else of playing hardball is it not?

Withdrawing from the original Wlad fight isn't Hayes fault.
Negotiating with Valuev and Vitali then choosing Valuev might have pissed K2 off but hardly Hayes fault, Valuev was the better choice contract wise and Hayes future wise.
The negotiations pre Harrison was both parties fault, can't place all the blame on Haye for that one.

So K2 announced Chisora as an opponent knowing full well it puts Haye in a spot where he has to fight Chagaev and possibly ruining any potential Klit-Haye fight to what, teach Booth and Haye a lesson?

This move is far worse than anything Haye/Booth have ever done to K2, I don't think that's even debatable.

 

Haye and Booth had all of 2010 to make a fight happen with either brother. But they didn't want to. They came up with bull**** excuses (remember the "Klitschko's are greedy" non-sense?) - so they could have some low risk paydays vs. guys like Ruiz and Harrison.

Fast forward 12 months to January 2010 and suddenly Booth is saying how a fight with Wlad has to be made very urgently because otherwise "Haye will retire soon". Do you think a seasoned veteran like Bönte will be bullied by amateurish posturing like that? If Haye wants to retire let him retire, nobody cares.

Do you think the "Wlad vs Adamek signed for September" press release is a coincidence? It has Bönte's handwriting all over it. I bet Bönte has a field day pissing into Booth's breakfast bowl.
