    You're reaching now.

Haye was forced to fight Ruiz, that was part of the contract he signed for Valuev, Ruiz was the next opponent, no if's, no buts.

For Harrison once again you're blaming Booth/Haye 100% which is bull****. Both parties were to blame, once again I'll point out K2s history of negotiating with opponents as proof if they don't have it all their own way a fight doesn't get made. Remember Haye brings more money to the table AND is willing to fight in Germany.

I also think you overestimate how pissed off Booth and Haye will be. It wouldn't surprise me if they release a statement saying Wlad will only get his hands on the belt after Haye retires because there will be no future negotiations.

History won't look kindly on Wlad at this exact moment in time. It will only show he avoided his most dangerous threat.

Noone in the heavyweight division bar Haye thats for sure all wlads fighters have been at arms length that is exactly why they were chosen.

if you want examples where speed and power beats a defensive fighter?
i can give you plenty currently theres

    sergio martinez
    Sugar shane mosley
    manny paquiao
    andre berto
    James degale
    Kell Brook

i can go lower in weights if you want i can also give you some classic boxers who broke the mould of old and beat strong fighters with power and speed you know like Muhammad Ali but he is not current

Then Haye should be VERY HAPPY to fight a guy like Chagaev. If Haye is such a great moneymaker then he can certainly make another amazing payday with a completely unknown fighter like Chagaev.

From hereon, Haye is making **** money against unknown **** opponents and Haye's best paydays (Valuev + Harrison) are a thing of the past. They won't be repeated. The only remaining big payday for Haye is the K brothers, nobody else.

How many PPV sales will Chagaev get Haye in the UK after the Harrison disaster?

Wlad, that's why we have contracts. A contract, signed by both of you, should have eased your mind.

Haye is definitely milking his title for every last dime but at the same time Wlad doesn't look any better. Had Wlad signed and Haye breached the contract, the entire public opinion would be on Klit's side. Instead, they both look like brats.

If you are from the uk and if you are then you arent very bright are you david haye vs chagaev in the uk woud stil gross more than a k2 fight in germany that is a fact beieve it or not haye has a fan base in the uk and the us where hbo have cottoned on to the gravy train and its suppy of tomato cans and have told wlad they wont broadcast him uness he fights Haye.

In addition it is testament to the legacy of wad that haye made more money boxing in germany than he did :nut

If Haye retires in October like he said with Chagaev and some other random nobody being his good-bye opponents nobody outside of the UK will remember Haye. His HW resume is simply too weak and thin.

Haye will be referenced as some loudmouth who thanks to his inept management was unable to get any meaningful, big fight together.

As far as Wlad is concerned, if he doesn't get knocked out by some random bum again and retires unbeaten from hereon then he'll to be among the one dozen or so best Heavyweights in history.

And no, I don't think realistically a fight between either Klit and Haye will ever materialize. Too much bad blood, too many hurt egos, too many TV stations, too many promoters.

Jack, you are a well known moron but you are reaching new heights.
60/40, 70/30 LMAO. You know why Pacquiao-Mayweather would be a 50/50 split? It's because neither could come close to achieving those revenues against any other fighter. Same here.

Then tell me please how much money Haye will make against Chagaev? How many PPV views will it get?

My assumption is that Chagaev will be Haye's *WORST* PPV pay day with Sky. Completely unknown opponent that generates very little interest in the UK and he has to pay Chagaev 30% of the purse and gets no options on Chagaev.

Show me how I am wrong here?

Except that Haye signed twice and breached twice and the UK press still takes Haye's said.

I dont think he does to be honest its all about money!

The belt is just a means to make money with out it imagine the demands Wlad would put in the contracts 75% to 25% slit. With haye being a world champion and with Hayes ppv stats its turned out to be 50/50

Chagaev is skint so no doubt he will be paid hardly nothing.

ppv wise it wont be his worst! The average guy in the street has brought into haye as a person not as a fighter and because of that it will sell!

No doubt sky will make it work like they did with fraudley!! 750000 ppv

you are asking me to project estimated earnings per household

k2 have a contract with a terrestial network which imits there earning due to germanys laws there fights are shown for free, in the uk sky box office will screen it with an undercard and even if its a low ppv his earning potential is stil far greater than klitchkos by a minimum of two maybe 3 times look at his highest payday vs vauev in germany it got 1.2 milion buys in the uk the german money is usually split from a pot no greater than 2-3 milion haye wouldnt be walking away with less than 2 m at his worst with tv sponsorship deals etc.
I am unsure if his fights have slots in the us(doubtful)

In addition Ruslan chagaev is a better matchup than monte barrett and woud be a mandatory world title fight so dont be expecting it to be too low a figure, the uk are known for paying for the less important fights too (hatton vs Lazcano, Khan vs shitoad of uk jerry cans etc)so Hayes profile brings it to the fold he sold the harrisson debacle very well

Haye will never have a solid HW legacy. Even if he beat both Klitschkos he wouldn't crack the top 30, but I'm not talking about Haye.

You say Wlad will be top 12 when he retires, really? Put his top 5 wins side by side with another 11 ATG fighters, he's nowhere near. H2H he'll have an argument sure but record wise not a chance.

Haye is Wlads biggest threat right now and can be argued to be a top 3/2/1 opponent on Wlads record, to avoid that damages his legacy, an avoidance which is 100% down to Wlad this time.

I still think it'll happen, look at Shaunsters thread. It actually makes sense for both of them to keep playing the fans till they can maximise their earnings, we can only hope.

    Incorrect.
Haye never signed to fight Vitali. Also when Setanta went under that automatically broke the contract with Wlad.:good

Fight was agreed to happen 2.7 (no mandatory would have been ordered) - everything seemed to be agreed (Wlad's colour demands etc).

I haven't read from anywhere, that if unification bout had been agreed upon that Haye would have been obliged to take mandatory defence if his opponent had other fights prior the unification fight.

So Haye most propably is to blame for this fight not happening. He didn't sign the contract - bottom line is that was the nail that shut the coffin which buried this megafight.

But so is Wlad - if Haye saw this tune-up against Chisora as an unfair leverage, why couldn't the big guy just skip this Chisora thing, when he already had homering etc.

I blame them both - either one could have made this fight come to real.

    Can't see any
