    Or... neither is the case.

I had to do a drug test before starting my current job. I didn't like having to do it, but I wasn't in a position to argue.

My brother has to undergo random drug testing in his work. He doesn't like it, but he isn't in a position to argue.

If I was in a position to argue I would tell them to go **** themselves. Now, I don't have a phobia of needles, and I am not on drugs.

So I know for a fact that what you present as the only two options are not the only two options.

    That makes you a liar.

Here is a great rule in life: If you need to lie to prove your point then it is time to review whether your point is correct.

    Blah blah blah.

    You finished bleating horse**** yet?

If you were serious, even for a second, then you would not be supporting these individual requests for drug testing.

People who have at least half a brain and don't have an agenda are clear on this - it needs to be brought in across the sport. Demanding it of an individual is bull**** - petitioning commissions is not.

Looks like we found a long lost member of the Mayweather Clan. Aleksander Mayweather.:lol::lol:

Sorry if that bad joke was already used. There is no way I am reading 12 pages to cover my ass.

As was slready stated on the first page; Atlas is behind this!

The current drug testing protocols, implimented(sp) through State athletic commisions are just fine by me. Demanding IOC testing protocols creates a slippery slope issue that will only throw another ****** wrench into a sport ripe with.... Well lets say problems for simplicity sake.

I agree about leverage. Povetkin isn't in much of a position to ask for what he is asking for, but it is a reasonable request. If he came back and said, "Sure I will test but it comes 100% out of your end of the purse split." That would be rock solid.

I have been buzzed and battered. Being "fresh" keeps the mind clear and emotions in check. I in no way mean to come down on the Klits as I think they are some of the most dedicated guys in boxing. I just find it funny that these "champs" won't RANDOM drug test.

Povetkin is a nobody. Wlad is the champ. He should be bending to Wlad's demands. Not the other way around.

    Indeed.

Now I know why that dirty sonofbitch Teddy Atlas was pulling a Mayweather Sr. in his outrageously irresponsible reportage of this silly email from team pac about the possible outcomes of a positive drug test...he was denigrating pac with his sight set on using it as a tactic against the Klit bro on behalf of his interest in Povetkin.

Now there are rumors and even some acknowledgment as regards the brothers being on peds, particularly Vitali when he was out of boxing and recovering from nagging knee injuries and recovering from arthroscopic surgery...not surprising as any modern day athlete, particularly one with a doctoral degree in sport science and physiology, would avail himself of all the advancement in orthopeadic and medical science in the treatment of somatic injuries and subsequent healing and recovery. This is also the prevailing suspicion that Floyd was indeed a ped aficionado during his mini retirement, training as always but without the encumbrance of random urine testing normally rendered to active pro boxers. This should come as no surprise as his whole clan has been known to dabble in drugs in general, the illegality of which has never been an obstacle to their experimentation, usage and distribution.

The Klit Bro is approaching this the right way, tell Povetkin, or more appropriately, Teddy Atlas, to fck off; the rule of the game is already there in legalese even at the governing boxing commission, not an issue of negotiation.

To make the drug testing rule an issue of negotiation was Bob Arum's singular mistake, perhaps his cunning harvard law school days long given up to incipient alzheimer's.

while I see the point and agree with the drug testing specially after watching mosley/mayweather, there's no way fighters would give in to such demands if they're not mandated by the organizers. in an ego driven sport and fights not happening for the tiniest disagreements, its hard to see everyone agreeing for these tests just cause the other guy demands it, they'd be thinking who the fk he thinks he is. I just hope it gets implemented soon since the genie's already out the bottle.
