Floyd blatantly accused Pac of taking PEDs, that's why he demanded tests.
Povetkin's representatives have denied placing WK under suspicion, on the contrary they said they were certain that Wlad is clean as can be. Why ask for additional tests then?

My opinion is that he doesn't think that WK is clean. But , when he talks in public he can't say this. That's why he insists on the additional tests

Why not? Pac's defamation suits had no ground, if that's your meaning.

Well, if they miss out on big fight sanctioning fees (like between Pac and Floyd) then they may just do this.

Nothing else will spur them into action but the almighty $$$

Of course it does. They're doing it in a way which is respectable to Klitschko, read between the lines. If you're 100% sure a guy is clean you wouldn't ask. What Povetkins camp have done is say "We believe you are clean, but we want to be sure".

If I were these fighters I'd say yes to the tests, and then say on the condition that since my opponent proposed it....He pays 100% of all tests, and any other fees administered ;).
Of course they could afford it, but the **** aint cheap. Especially in this case where Povetkin gets a smaller purse, his ass beat, and Wlad is clean.

That is exactly what Floyds camp, and now apparently Povetkins camp are using against Pacq, and Klitschko respectively. I think it is a ***** move by Povetkins camp. And they know very well that the HW Champion of the world has a bigger ego then accepting demands from a guy like Povetkin, who honestly speaking has no right to be demanding anything in this situation.

The last part of your quote is exactly what needs to happen, as this rubbish is comming up far too often in the boxing world lately, with the author being none other then Floyd... who by the way is still sitting silently after Pac swallowed his pride and accepted his terms. Unless something changes this will be just another tactic used by fighters to hamper interesting fights from materializing, just another blow to this already complicated and frustrating sport.
