That's not gonna work. Not all fighters in the top can even make that much money. Especially in the lower weights. If you're not going to apply it to one group, then it's hypocritical to apply it to the another group. Some fighters on a lucky day make 50 grand. Then they have to pay out to other dudes, then you're going to deduct what? 20k for the tests and personnel for the testing?

If they go full random, that's even more testing and even more expensive.

surly the BS ABC commissions charging 500k for a BS made up title and belt crafted with gold foil can afford to splurge some for testing

    of course they won't

You already know they won't. This is a money game, after all.

Well, no one's every 100% sure the other is clean, but i get your point. Embarassing move by WK if true (Povetking should already be a little bit embarassed for shamelessly not wanting the fight for a couple of years). Take the damn test. Why not? Is he "afraid of needles" like Pac?

Bull****. All Klitschko has to do is indicate he is willing to submit to testing from an independent organization that will be fair to both fighters.

If he isn't willing to do this, then he has something to hide.

If you don't think PEDs are a big part of boxing you are living in a dream world.

Drug testing is not a ducking tactic, at least not in this case. That's delusional Manny-fan talk.

Wladimir is tested on a regular basis :)

...and do you really think Povetkin is suspicious and fears Wladimir is using PEDs? I believe it is just some Atlas bull****....

Even if it is mostly "some Atlas bull****" why not take the tests?

If you include Vitali in that list please try to stay with the facts. Perhaps read the whole story with what happened before the olympic games ;)

Good post. Whenever there's a lot of money involved and there's not too much risk of getting caught, there's gonna be PED. This seems esp so in the hw division with no weight limits

Maybe it has something to do with not wanting to pay the $20,000
