The new way to get out of a fight, pull out the Floyd card. Aka drug testing. :rofl

Gotta give credit to Floyd. He can think up of excuses to duck that no one else thinks of.
I wonder if anyone else will follow Floyd's trademark "he got 5 losses" duck routine.

Yeah I know, that's why I put the :think beside the post.

But it has to start somewhere, title fights perhaps and fights where there's a certain amount of money generated that $20k is chump change?

One things for sure, it has to start at some point or we'll just see more of this happening.

I think Wlad should agree to the test. The Klitschko's are known for pass roid use. Vitali fail a test in the past and Wlad had zits all over his back in his fight in the usa with Phil Jackson. To bad the roids can't fix Wlad's weak ass chin isn't it farmy.

povetkin just "pulled a floyd."

meaning to avoid some tough challenge by issuing demands out of ordinary. issue demands and change it once the opponent agrees.

I think Wlad is hiding somethings ... otherwise how could he
grew up so much since his birth day? He is almost as tall as his brother
but he is like 5 years younger ... there is somethings fishy here!

Could very well be, but if not I can fully understand where Povetkin is coming from.

Random drug tests should be compulsory for all fighters, it is up to the governing bodies to enforce the law. Boxers stating that this must be in the contracts does not work, as it is not a consistent approach to doping in the sport. :deal

All Sauerland event promoted boxers do random wada tests. so regardless Wlad takes it or not Povetkin will do.
Team Povetkin stated on the press conference two weeks ago that they dont demand anything since Wlad is champ. also they are convinced that Wlad does nothing illigal they just kindly asked him join their anti doping offense.
so noone is going to ***** out because of that and its far away from any pacman pbf like big deal.

I think you got a comprehention problem my friend. This will be the third time of my telling you that Povetkin's people are saying they are absolutely certain that WK is NOT using PEDs.

Wald like many other fighters who are clean don't feel the need to give in to demands that other fighters try to impose that are OUTSIDE the current regulations that the governing bodies or commissions are responsible for.

The testing wouldn't prove or disprove Wald being on anything illegal. For the most part if Wald is doping he's gonna beat ANY test regardless of it being USADA or WADAs testing measures. Given the ease of beating those tests if you have the available resources.

If Povetkin passes then he obviously doesn't want the fight bad enough b/c he's just not confident in his abilities being enough to beat Wald.

  14. Well, his brother Vitali tested positive for steroids in the past. Maybe the apple doesn't fall far from the tree?

Povetkin never demanded stringent drug testing. Povetkin knows he doesn't have the leverage to pull it off. He also knows that Wlad would rather fight Haye than Povetkin. A guy with no leverage would never demand something like this. Povetkin asked Wlad to submit to OSDT, but he never demanded it as he knows Wlad would turn it down for no other reason than to avoid fighting Povetkin so that he can pursue Haye.
