The people blaming Haye for this situation are crazy. Obviously you can blame him for the pullout in June 09 or even for not signing to fight Vitali later that year. Seriously what are you blaming him for this time agreeing to Wlads demands did Haye agreeing shock him so much he had to have a warm up to prepare.

People are putting out this idea that the 2nd July is still possible because Vitali did something similar fighting Arreola and Johnson close together. Sure fight Chisora Saturday start training for his biggest fight in years Monday this is not happening. Any slight injury and the fight is back in September/October and Haye will have been out nearly a year If he wants 2 fights this year its no good.

Wladimir has built up this laughable idea of being this indestructible machine marching relentlessly forwards destroying all that’s in his path. So he’s put himself in a position where he is now most reluctant to take any fight that’s even slightly risky because he’ll look human if he loses especially to someone who is apparently so awful as Haye. This could have a dramatic effect on the Klitschko industry.

Much better to fight guys with about 1-5 % chance of victory. Who after Chisora I wonder perhaps a mega fight against the thoroughly average (at HW) Adamek. They could promote it along the lines of he’s better than Haye because he won titles in 2 lower weight divisions and has won more HW fights conveniently ignoring at HW he has 0 power.

I’m aware that Haye will be in equally uninspiring fights but this time it’s not his fault. But as long as the Euros keep rolling in for the Klitschkos who cares they can maintain their aura of invincibility and their fans can continue to worship their flawless demigods.

Haye doesn't help himself much either if u look at it. Look at his heavyweight stint, pretty laughable, indeed. But, then, again, Haye is fighting him in July, so, what is the big deal really?

Faye has now backed out of three fights with K2, what a pathetic coward.

Wlad: "I will fight you in July."

Vitali: "I will fight you anytime."

Haye: "NO, NO, I DON'T BELIEVE YOU, I'M DONE!"

Why does Haye care if Wlad fights Chisora in April? He is the one with the advantage not Wlad. Am I missing something here?

No, you aren't missing anything. It's just an excuse from Haye.

Nothing wrong if a champ wants to stay active.

Wlad hasnt taken any real damage since? There is no available reason why Wlad couldnt fight twice in 9 weeks. In fact, if he did it, would be a breath of fresh air for boxers.

Wlad hasnt been as busy in the last 2-3 years. He needs a solid 3-4 fights a year IMO.

6 fights in the last 3 years is active enough for a guy who has had 58 pro fights.

That is a matter of opinion. I think the more active a fighter is the better he is for the sport. Wlad is knocking on the door of a legacy here. Since he doesnt have any george foreman or joe frazier to fight he has to rely on building a legacy of consecutive defenses and length of reign.

I don't know how important legacy is to Wlad, but if he is interested in being looked at as an ATG he needs to be busy, fight often and challenge for the most title defenses.

Again the guy has 58 pro fights, other than that who is out there to fight? Wlad has fought everyone so no need to do a bum of the month club.

Who needs to be fighting 4x a year at heavy is faye.....better yet fighting real top 10 heavies. Up to now faye has fought at best one top 10 heavy in the last 2 years.....so pathetic.

Because April won't fit to British boxing calender. Khan's fight and some royal wedding is too close to April date.
