Off course he has to steamroll him He has every conceivable advantage against An old former cruiser who Haye KOd years ago. This should go no more than 3 rounds. A complete mismatch.

What credit can you give Wlad for a victory here, really? He's fighting a guy who will be giving away 7 inches in height, 7 inches in reach And 30 lbs in weight. A guy that David Haye knocked out at his best weight nearly 5 years ago.

I'm not trolling, it's a legitimate observation - its a mismatch and shouldn't go more than 3-4 rounds.

I understand that there isn't much opposition out here for him, but his fans cannot come on here and moan about people expecting him to blow through fighters when this is the caliber of his opponents.

 

reading this post makes me think youv never watched a wladimir klitschko fight..wlad does not go for the kill early..so unless he renders mormeck useless with jabs and the first few right hands then its going past the 6th...in fact no doubt when mormeck feels the power hell fight a defencive fight just like haye did.......by your logic wlad should have knocked haye down easily since mormeck did 5 years ago??go and learn something about the ****ing sport and how guys actually fight...

 

Fair enough and I agree this time he should win though Mormeck will come to fight and win.
My comment was more refering to those who always say that Wlad vs. anyone is a mismatch and that this is the worst HW era ever etc. only because they cannot accept that K2 are as exceptional as other greats of the past.

I know how Wlad fights, I've seen him fight plenty of times. My point is that he does not need to fight like this against an opponent like Mormeck. He has every conceivable advantage. There is not one single area in which Mormeck is better than Wlad. He is fast enough, controls range well enough and hits hard enough to get get Mormeck out of there in no time. It should be a formality. If he goes and blows Mormeck out people might not start raving about it, but he'll certainly get credit for doing what he was expected to do.

However, if Wlad wants to go in there with an overmatched opponent like JMM and fight cautiously behind the jab, occasionally throwing a right hand and allow the fight to get in the later rounds that's his perogative. BUT - there can be no complaints when people start criticising him for being boring to watch, or putting on a poor performance.

You can't have your cake and eat it.
