Its very hard to build muscle in the legs for boxers because of the amount of movement and endurance work they do on their legs.

Thats why so many boxers have chicken legs. Its just a natural result of their sport. Runs in the morning, skipping, these excercises are not condusive to building muscle. They end up getting stringy, muscular legs like middle distance runners.

There is more modern training techniques coming to the fore these days with more strength work and explosive training(sprinting instead of long slow jogs), but by and large you're still going to see disproportionately skinny legs

Yeah, it's hard to build a muscle for size and explosiveness that is optimized for endurance that we use every single time we walk. There's also a genetic component to it. People of African descent in general have smaller calves, and Asians have the largest with Caucasians somewhere in the middle.

Ah yes,the dreaded "black mans calves", the bane of bodybuilders of African decent for many a long year.

What happened? Only thing I can imagine is that they changed the Botowamungu fight from an RTD to a DQ..?

    :deal

Yep, you beat me to it....

But to know for sure I guess we need to really find a tape (if one even exists) of this fight and see what the official announcement is at the end?

Regardless of what Boxrec says, I wonder what the true official number is right now...still 51?
I assume that's what Wlad and Team Klitschko believe, as Mormeck was the 50th KO, Thompson the 51st.
