david haye is too fast. hits too hard. has too much lateral movement. has too good of a footwork for wladimir to beat him. i say, two round knockout for david haye, whilst hurting wladiimr badly knocking him down near the end of the first round. this won't be a fight, this will be a massacre. big brother is already trying to step in to stop the inevitable from happening. jab, jab from wladimir. haye is moving. some jabs are getting through, most are missing due to haye's lateral movement, and bang haye catches him with a right hand. wladimir's legs have gone, he's trying to survive, he misses a clinch, and he's down, wladimir's down. wladimir's up. round finishes. second round. wladimir hasn't recovered, and haye catches him again. three knockdowns and the fight is over. and the new undisputed heavyweight champion of the world is david haye.
wishful thinking. Yesterday you saw what happened to "Fast" Eddie. I doubt that Haye is much faster...
the fight has to happen. the division can't go on like this. it's in a damn coma. i think haye hits too hard for him as well as it goes. :yep
"fast" Eddie was about as fast as my grandmother having a conniption fit Haye will **** Wlad up Not so sure about Vitali mind...
I hope it will happen! Wlad will ko Haye inside 5 rounds if haye takes risks! IMO If not could be snoozer.
lol, 'Fast' Eddie Chambers was moving so fast that to the naked eye it looked like his fat arse was sat on the ropes doing **** all. Haye is MUCH quicker of both hand and foot than Chambers. That's not to say he'll win, but anyone who can't see that Wlad still leaves his chin out to dry and bases his defence on trying to move out of range is as mesmerised by his repetetive jab as his plodding, mediocre opponents are. Haye has the tools to beat Wlad for sure, he is quick and hits hard and can close down distance very quickly against much larger opponents. That's not to say it's a walk in the park for him, but nothing i saw last night makes me any less convinced that Haye has a good chance of sparking Wlad out.
If Haye takes risks he'll bang Wlad out harshly. It's very hard to counter someone who is much quicker than you, and that's what Wlad would be having to do against an aggressive David Haye. Wlad cannot fight off the back foot at all to be honest, so if Haye opens up his only hope is to weather the early storm and take him apart when he tires. Defensively i don't think Wlad is good enough to do that. If Haye fights like he did against Valuev on the other hand then Wlad could well slow him with the jab and then take him out later, but it would be dull as you point out.
It's hardly unpredictable, he holds his arm out to find the range then pistons it back and forth in a straight line. He's fortunate to be fighting in an era of heavyweights who offer literally no lateral movement.
Obviously Haye has power, but Haye knows Wlad has more. Haye COULD ko Wlad, but Haye will be scared shitless of getting hit by Wlad. This will cause Haye to be EXTREMElY tentative and cautious, as Wlad will be too. It will take more than one punch from Haye to ko Wlad. Wlad will only need one solid punch to ko haye. Wlad knows this, if Haye decided to trade at all, it will almost certainly end up being in Wlad's favor. Here's how I see it: Nothing Happens for 4 rounds. Haye clips Wlad, thinks he hurts him, Wlad counters haye with his 1-2 hurts haye, but doesnt follow up. After 5 more rounds of this Haye tires (Wlad doesnt tire anymore it seems), and Wlad starts laying his right hand on more. Wlad ko10 Haye. Could haye win it? Sure. Haye could also win the lottery too. I just dont see anyone beating the Brothers K right now.
Rightly or wrongly, Haye has never been scared shitless of anything. He is a proper fighter, not like Wlad who craps his pants at the very thought of someone getting near his glass jaw. Haye takes risks, it's what makes him exciting to watch. He is quick enough and hits hard enough to do damage to Wlad, and he has 10 times more balls than Klit Jnr so will actually look to knock him out.
