If the fight happane and if they fight in Vegas.. I wonder if the brits will take over the place like for Hatton vs. Mayweather and Joe vs. Hopkins?

I personally don´t think so.. as Joe and especially Hatton are to me much more likeable than Haye, and Wladimir isn´t nearly as unlikeable as Hopkins or Mayweather.

They'd be out of their mind if they hold this fight in the USA. Haye has his fanbase in the UK, Klitschko in Germany, Ukraine and basically all of Eastern Europe.

Haye will have huge support from the UK , the potential fan base for him is larger then Hattons due to this been the Heavyweight divison. If Haye lives up to his boasts and expectations , he's the next boxing mega star.

Thats what i was thinking, the fight would probably be in the uk or germany. Most probably the uk because the money is here and the audience could be 50000 to 60000:deal

That's a huge crowd for sure. UK fans are incredibly loyal.

You can bet that any arena in Germany would be sold out too, though. They're more attracted to the "show" than boxing however. There are always some celebrities, and it was kind of funny to see a former Dutch soccer player (Van der Vaart) interviewed at the Wlad-Thompson fight... he was there because he's played soccer in Germany for a few years and i assume is popular. "Who's going to win?" -"Klitschko... why ? Well, he's Klitschko!"

They'll support Haye... but not because of the British invasion, but because so many people are tired of seeing that chinless, panicky, boring Klitschko at the top.

It'll be like the Jermain Taylor effect where people were so tired of Jermain's performances that by the time Kelly Pavlik rolled around a lot of fans were calling for Taylor's head.

If the fight is taking place in Germany no way will the brits take over the place. The Germans love Wlad, and to think he's not their own, it's crazy. Besides, I doubt Haye will ever have half the following that Hatton and Calzaghe have.

Well Haye is a bit of a *****, but remember, he's also a heavyweight... and heavyweights attract a lot more fans than those in lighter weight classes. So if Haye actually has big success at heavyweight I fully expect him to build up as big a following or bigger than the likes of Hatton or Joe Calzaghe.

I dont even know if this cruiserweight has what it takes to take over heavy. Povetkin KO Haye. Besides, the division is dead.

In Germany the crowd will be for Klitschko. In England, Haye. Duh.

As it stands now the US PPV market would be impartial. Klitschko doesn't have all that tremendous a following, good but hardly DLHesque. Haye? Beyond the true boxing fans they'd think you were talking about dead grass in the US. There's zilch casual boxing fan knowledge of him.

Haye wouldn't add much more to the US PPV market for this fight than Thompson did. If he knocked out some relatively known commodity in spectacular fashion in front of a US audience before a WK/Haye showdown they could add tens of millions in revenue.
