Hard fight to figure. The size difference would make it an interesting fight. P4P Ali is so much better, but with the size Ali would lose a decision.

 

Wlad lost to Sanders who had faster hands than Wlad. If we are talking about prime Ali...prime Ali would box Wlad to death as Wlad would be too slow for Ali. Wlad lost to Sanders and Brewster. You can say styles make fights lol...but Ali had a style of moving and using the jab that would lump and cut Wlad to ribbons.

 

jesus christ. cant believe some of the posts in this. the klits are good, but beating 100 tin cans doesnt make you great. i wish a george foreman like fighter would appear and just brutally ko them O_O

 

Ali wins by late stoppage, and that is being nice. Why?

Look at how a slow and green Calvin Brock tap danced his way into the lead on the scorecards against Wald, before his lack of a chin and defense let him get caught. If he had the skills and stamina to keep that up, he would have won by UD over WALD.

Look at how Wald struggled with TOny the Tiger Thompson. Tony QUIT in RD 11 and decided to take his paycheck and go home. But he was taxing Wlad's stamina, who looked like that same guy who gassed out and got KOED against Brewster and Purritty,

Look at how Wald dealt with little Sultan Ibraginov. He had to go 12 ponderous rounds with him cause he was worried about his speed. Little Ibraginov had something that made WAld just want to slap his gloves down and be done with it. WAld flinched every time little Ibraginov feinted, all nite long.

Look at how a fat, natural LHW like EDDIE CHAMBERS took Wald into the last few seconds of round 12, before he decided to lay down and collect his check.

Look at how an awful, crude, non-boxer like SAMUEL PETERS had Wlad ready to eat a good combination and go out on his back THREE times. Wald will beat the softened up Peters easily in the rematch, but it dont change **** about what happened the first time.

Can't nobody on this site tell me a prime Ali wouldnt do better than those guys against a prime Wald. He possesses a group of skills and attributes that none of WALD's opponents ever had at the same time. Ali has 15 round stamina on top of that.

Wald hasnt lost since 2004. But he aint fought no ATG's either. Wald can beat everybody out there now, but there aint nobody out there now who could crack the top 20 in the 70's.
