I have always said Wlad's Chin is Glass or borderline Glass. Either way Rahman is going to get brutally KOed. :good

You have to give it to Vlad, at least he is keeping busy. He did not have to fight anyone and could have just waited. Sometimes when you take a fight that is suppose to be easy, turns out to be a nightmare in disquise. Morrison vs Bentt before his 8 million fight with Lewis comes to mind and was posted a couple of days ago. One punch can change everything and Rahman has done it before.

I wouldn't disagree. Prime Rahman I suspect would have given WALDO trouble but not this version.

I dearly hope Rahman shows up to fight and not for a final big payday!

As power is the last to go, Rahman may prove more interesting than Toney, since Toney just doesn't have much HW power!!

I suppose it will be better than no fight at all!

"Prime" Rahman still had a grade A china chin, and would have gotten knocked out cold.

In fact, getting knocked out cold is what Rahman seems to specialize in!!!

    No problem with this fight.

Wlad is taking a late substitution and can pad his resume with a 2 time heavyweight champion.

He really had no other choice. Toney? Please. He would never, ever step in the ring with Wlad. Anyone who thinks he would actually fight a Klitschko is delusional.

I'm glad some are seeing the sense in this.
It isn't like Wlad has a wide range of choices, all ready and raring to go.

Povetkin's out, Dimitrenko has got Krasniqi in 2 weeks time, Arreola has an IBF eliminator against Travis Walker in 4 weeks time, no-one wants to see another go-around with Ibragimov, Golota has Ray Austin in just a week and is aiming for Valuev and Haye is not going to be stupid enough to leap right into a fight like this.

I agree that Toney and Maskaev are interesting and worthwhile options as well. I wouldn't have a problem with either of them getting a shot too. But let's not pretend either of them are at much of a higher level than Rahman at the moment, they've both had real problems in recent fights and with inactivity as well.

At least it's not ****ing Holyfield. If Valuev goes for that, I'm losing all respect for him.

Vlad would knock Toney out and he will knock Rahman out also.

I have a better opponent for Wlad. How about Valuev? He can dump the ancient Holyfeld which would be the right thing to do for the sake of the sport and fight Klitchko. This is getting stupid. First Holyfeld now Rahman getting title shots. Both if these belt holders are embarrassing the sport with their choice of opponents. This is supposed to be championship boxing and both Klitchko and Valuev are supposed to be champions. Maybe they should start acting like it as opposed to looking like up and comers that want cake walks to a title shot.

Sauerland will not allow this fight.

Wlad will fight against Valuev but what should he do? Valuev have a contract with Sauerland.

It is not Wlad false. Without german promoters and without Don King Wlad unifyed with Ibragimov. But here he has no chance so he had to fight the next available contend of the IBF.

I think its a decent replacement.

Wlad has had two lackluster performances, but people act as though all his fights are like that.

This should be a good fight where Wlad can look good.

Nothing to lose fight for Rahman. Nobody expects him to win and he'll earn a nice paycheck for his troubles.
