Is it "hate" to not rate Wladimir Klitschko very highly? Is it "hate" to think that a guy who has been stopped not once not twice but THRICE by mediocre opponents, and who hasn't beaten many very good opponents, is not a great heavyweight champion?

Objective criticism is not hate, it's merely different from your own opinion. Grow up.

I agree with this. Pretty much how I saw the fight too. Thompson didn´t quit but he was worn down and psyched out by Wlad´s superiority in the later half of the fight.

I think you have perfectly good reasons not to rate Wlad as a great. He´s my favourite, but he does have these really bad losses and has not beaten another great. His resume is still very good and he is definitely #1 in the division now.

I think Wlad can still rank as a great if he manages to dominate for a long time to come. Wins against Povetkin, Valuev, Peter, Haye might just do it.

poor tony thompson. the guy finaly comes into prominence out of obscurity to fight the toughest man in heavyweight boxing today only to loose.
tony, i wish you the best. your worth and skill will be proven in the next few years and then... only then will the gravity of your match with W.Klitschko be fully understood.
