    Good post.
I actually do think that a Wlad/Valuev fight is very possible. Valuev is no spring chicken and I think he would take the fight if the $$ was right. I think it would be huge in Germany.

I really think Valuev would do it. 1 big fight with Wlad would be more $ than 3-4 fights with "No Name" fighters.

    "close decision"?
    NO WAY... Brutal KO

Wlad is to fast, to strong and has much more ring experience than anyone Valuev has ever faced.

I think Wlad is preparing to eventually fight the giant. He knows that this is probably the biggest fight he can make at this time in his career. I think he will work his way on the inside and KO the giant. Wlad will want to make this a statement fight. He expressed wanting to work with Thompson after his last fight to improve his inside fight game.

    Can't wait!!

I highly doubt it. Valuev has a very good chin and his size will make Wlad cautious and hesitant to throw rights, as usual.

Christ, 80 votes to 3 for Valuev?

I'd definitely favor Wlad, but i'm surprised the Russian got so few votes. A guy like Ibragimov or even Thompson at least got 10-20% of the votes.

    like these guys also:
    Byrd
    Brock
    Brewster
    Austin
    Thompson

Wlad has a 90% ko rate... I just dont see Valuev with anything special... He might have a good chin now, based on who he has fought so far, but Wlad is a different story. Wlad would be the BEST, by far, that Valuev has ever faced

hey chef is it true the IBF is enforcing a Nov 30 deadline for Wlad to fight Povetkin? this could cause some problems if that's the case. can't imagine the IBF would be so bitchy over 2 weeks :think

based on what? moster punchers ruiz and barrett buckling him with a single right hand....the best puncher he's faced was chagaev whose best ko is over Britain's favorite son Michael Sprott :nut

wlad is no crazy ike but he's decent :yep

No the Dec 13th has been approved. The IBF understood the politics and understands its only 2 weeks past deadline.... Thats the last I heard
