Maybe 8 or 10 Wlad with the exception of Austin does not gewt guys outta there like he used to. He takes control secures it on points then KO's guys. This one goes a little longer than 5 unless he catches him.

 

I miss the old Wl;ad the guy who came in there and tried to get you outta there. Fans loved him in the 90's ear;y 00's cause he was exciting and hard hitting and likeable. His style though very good and not knocking the guy but his fights are not fun to watych. Much can be balimed on his opposition but Rahman, chag, Thompson Iggy were all in the ring longer than they should have been

Todays Wlad is a much better more fluid fighter, with better footwork, fast hands, better movement, better ringgeneralship.

But he was much more crowd pleasing. He is very saftey first now even when he doesnt have to be. He had l;ong fights early on but he was more agressive and more pleasing to watch. I am a fan and am not knocking him but he really has became so overly careful when he does not have to be

 

It is Heavyweight Boxing! You have to be careful, this is absolut bul****. The old Wlad was easy to counter and because of this he lost against Sanders!

Todays Wlad is a much better boxer and much better to watch! His perfect footwork, his movement, he do all the things much better. Perfect shot against Brock:

Why should The Champ taking risks or getting hit? The opponents takes the risk, Wlad takes the "W".!
You have to win a fight to become Champion and to be it for a long time. Taking riks is not the way to win fights.

And i like the way Wlad is fighting, more relaxed, more fluid, with great ringgeneralship with his trainer Emanuel Steward in the corner!

 

I am not critisizing his style i am a big fan of his and expect him to wipe up chambers. His improvemenmts are vast and because of this he has had a long title reign very consistent knocking off good fighters and i dont think he could have done what he has done without steward or these adjustments but i have to say i miss his more agressive days. Im not knocking him just stating my preference i liked his approach back then though more risky and he paid the price in 3 losses all of which would not occur with the form he is in and much of the lack of excitment is due to his opponents but im just staing my opinion

 

Yeah he's faster now then he used to be but I TOTALLY agree with you he was more fun to watch when he was more aggressive. But I'm not gonna lie he knocked out Brock and Austin I was like....damn lol. Those two knockouts were pretty brutal. And Thompson looked like he was about to sleep when he got KOed in the 11th round. But you're absolutely right, he is overly careful when he should be aggressive.:good I wish he fought meaner like his brother Vitali.

 

Vitali is very exciting but poor performances by johnson gomez and peter made the fights dull. I was shocked that Brok got up from that punch.

 

Nice video of Brock getting hammered:good but yeah he's more fluid and relaxed with Steward I agree, but he's also safety first usually. Although it's funny when you think of the Brock fight. Steward finally tells him to start throwing bombs and end the fight, and then Wlad fought aggressive and look what happened.....the fight was over quick

 

I feel like if he got his right off faster and delivered more left hooks many of these fights would not go aas long. He got Austin right out of there. 5 rounds with just a jab against Brock he then lets the right go and in 2 rounds it is over. Nothing wrong with establishing a jab and rythm but i just think nobody has the ability to take his punch and if he gets the right and left hook out early his fights will be cut in half. Im not asking for recckless abandon balls to the wall im saying unleash the power shots earlyer. Though the fluid jab rythm saftey first seems smart for a haye match

 

It'll probably go at least 10 rounds, might even go the distance.

Chambers has a great defense, and he's a tough guy. Wlad won't just walk in there and KO him. He'll establish the jab as always, but he won't be able to find a home for that cross until later in the fight when Eddie wears down.
