Could be early, could be mid rounds or it could be late, Vlad will use his brain and strike whenever the opening comes.

 

Byrd, Brock, Chagaev, all got hit cleanly too much. Chambers is VERY hard to hit cleanly, Wladimir will land punches on Chambers, but it won't be clean shots, neither will he land a lot of punches at all. It's an uphill battle for Chambers, but I predict he will win the fight.

 

Byrd was a very good defensive fighter.

Wlad will hit Chambers clean, no doubt about. Wlad knows how to use his feet to land a perfect punch on a defensive good fighter!

Steward will make a perfect game plan and Wlad KO Chambers not later than round 8.

Yes and i believe that Steward and Wlad will work on these things and in 2010 you will see this aggressive Wlad! Steward is a Trainer of great Champions and Wlad will show that he is one of the greatest heavyweight boxers ever!

 

Byrd couldn't hurt Wladimir, Byrd had little to no choice but to be defensive until he got knocked out. Chambers head movement and defense is much better than Byrd's, he's also capable of hurting Wladimir.

He'll never go back to that aggressive style, there's no need to. He can win fights with the style he's in pretty easily and still get the KO to appease the fans.

Chambers is a volume puncher, he is made for Vlad.

 

Slightly off topic, but I'd love to see a tournament to find out who the current best American heavyweight actually is. Chambers, Arreola, Thompson, someone else- it would create plenty of hype for a Klitschko fight

 

Chambers is rated as the #1 American HW and he's a top 5 HW. Arreola, Johnson, Thompson, don't come close to Chambers credentials right now.

 

I think TT and Arreola would both give Chambers good fights. Thompson looked good in his last fight and I don't think Chambers is good enough offensively to really hurt him, and Arreola is a good pressure fighter and decent puncher who would capitalize on Chambers relatively low punch output. I probably underestimate Fast Eddie, but I just don't see anything world-class in him offensively.

Chambers-Jonhson would be snoozefest, as would Thompson-Johnson.

But i believe Wlad will show in 2010 how good he is and he will be a little bit more aggressive to show that he is The No. 1 Heavyweight Champion of the World.

Chambers is a very good boxer and fighter. He schooled Dimitrenko, it was very nice to watch! Props to Chambers for fighting his way to a title fight! Not talking. He goes to germany in the promoters hometown to deserve the title shot. Same Toney Thompson who did not the credit he deserves. TT makes a very good fight against Wlad and Eddy Chambers will do the same.

Eddie Chambers is a very nice guy and a very good boxer!

 

Thompson I don't think has the skills to compete with Chambers, not to mention he's getting old. Arreola defense is so leaky that Chambers will have a field day landing shots on him. Chambers power is deceiving, Arreola's boxing skills suck, Arreola is rarely in shape.

Also Chambers in his recent fights is throwing more punches.
