Byrd has better foot movement and fights well backing up, but his defense isn't good as Chambers when he's on the offense. In terms of head movement and blocking punches, Chambers from what I've seen is better. Chambers high guard defense is really hard to crack.

Yeah he floored your last hero dimetriko didn't he. You said the same things before that fight and then you kicked dimetriko to the curb because you had wlad to fall back on. You say Chambers has no power but you seem to forget how weak wlad's chin is.

Bull****, Povetkin found him easily. Chambers high guard consists of keeping his gloves at the temple but it's not a tight guard. Povetkin hit him cleanly right through the middle and through the guard over and over again. Given that he probably has improved a bit I wouldn't rule it out that he might last the distance and this plays out like Wlad-Byrd I where he loses about every round but manages to see the final bell.

Chambers has improved a lot because he now wants to win. His work-rate has improved, he's in shape, and he's fighting to his potential. Against Povetkin I don't think Chambers wanted to win, and of course Povetkin was able to land punches, especially when Chambers was just laying against the ropes and allowing Povetkin to smother him. You watch that fight Povetkin still had trouble landing clean shots, even when Chambers was just laying against the ropes blocking punches.

And I seriously doubt Wlad-Chambers will be like Wlad-Byrd I for the simple fact that Chambers has a better offense and hits harder than Byrd.

I like Chambers, but don't give him much of a chance against Wlad. Aside from all the technical reasons already pointed out, like Lennox Lewis always says about Wlad..."You don't realize how big he is until you get in the ring with him". It's more than sheer size like Dimitrenko had; it's that Wlad "Fights Big" and I see his opponents (since the current winning streak) freeze like a deer in the headlights. An intangible factor the "Tale Of The Tape" can't measure.

Wlad by Brock like KO in 7

Just to clarify: Lewis says that about both Klits obviously he never fought Wlad before...

Wlad will beat Chambers but I'm not totally sold on it being a ko. Chambers is a good fighter and has a solid defense but I don't know how much success Wlad will have at landing his big shots on him. I have little doubt Wlad will take control of the fight with his jab and win round after round. Either late ko or wide decision victory for Wlad here.

I wouldn't bet your money on Chambers finishing this fight with his senses in tact.

i keep telling you Wlads chin aint as bad as you think it is sanders hits hard, and the other konck downs aint cuza his chin.. i do however think that Chambers will test his chin a bit in this fight but in doing so will be his
    downfall :tired

And even though he wasn't getking a lot of KDs/KOs previously, he stunned guys like Povetkin with his punches. I think he is a legitimate speed-is-power type.

I'd rather see Eddie spend a couple of years in the cruisers, build up a record of championship excellence, come back and take on a smaller heavyweight champ in the post Klit era. Haye, Adamek, Boytsov, Povetkin- whoever emerges in a couple of years.

I agree people think he has a weak chin but his losses came from people that can hit very hard. Sanders and Brewster can hit really hard. Plus Wlad got up from the knockdowns but if he has a glass chin then Lennox Lewis does too then. After all, Lewis got ktfo by Rahman so I wouldn't say Wlad has a glass chin. But Wlad's chin is not great like Vitali, who should be called Dr. Iron Chin, not Dr. Iron Fist:lol: And to the people that think Chambers has amazing defense. Let's see how well he handles true heavyweight power. Wlad can hit ridiculously hard.
I just don't see Chambers being able to hold up under Wlad's power, reach, and height advantage. Wlad is nothing like Dimitrenko, in terms of power and skills. Wlad blows Dimitrenko away so I think Chambers is crazy if he thinks he'll be able to go into the fight with Wlad thinking that it'll wind up like the Dimitrenko fight.

I forgot about his surgery though. So yeah you're right.......it'll probably be either a late KO or a decision victory. I hope that he healed from the surgery and doesn't have any ring rust or any problems.
