Chambers looked very fit and intense against Dimitrenko, he'll be just as prepared mentally and physically for Wladimir. Wladimir may have the power, but it won't mean a damn thing if he's barely landing.

Dimitrenko isnt a power puncher...wlad is.And by the same token...chambers couldnt break an egg with his punch.he'll awaken the beast in wlad and get dropped like a bad habit.my prediction...ko before the 6th round.:bbb

If Chambers thinks he can beat Wlad like he beat Dimitrenko, than he will realize that Wlad had a different power. Wlad has a very powerful jab, very good footwork and he will find the target. Chambers cannot avoid the punches from Wlad.

    Wlad will KO Chambers.

Chambers looked very intense against Dimitrenko, as if Dimitrenko couldn't hurt him. I think Chambers will do what other opponents couldn't do and that's be able to get within punching range and land shots.

:patsch you serious who has wlad ever had any problems landing on? he has the reach height power and comparible speed.... Dimitrenko is NOT Wlad and fights nothing like him poor comparison.... defensive fighters who cannot bang really dont threaten Wlad he will outbox Chambers losing at most one round along the way to stopping him in the seventh.

I always hoped Dimi would develpoe, but sometimes it looks like he doesn't know what he is doing in there. He certainly does not know how to fight tall- shame for a guy who is 6'7"

Wlad will punch right through Chambers high guard just like he did Chris Byrd. I expect this fight to be a carbon copy of the 2nd Byrd fight.

Total bull**** and nothing but an excuse. The NFL and NBA have been around for a 100 years and the pay scale has always been on par with pro boxing show me stats that reveal a sudden disparity. The average career for an NFL player is 3 years unless you're a star QB and I don't see any of them having potential to be a champion boxer.

I guess it's a coincidence that boxers from the eastern block nations are now fighting professionally that we see more eastern block fighters. :nut

I remember Mark Gastinueu (sic) tried to become a pro boxer and was destroyed by a club fighter. Brian Minto just had his face smashed in by Arreola. There have been other attempts of NFL players trying to become boxers and I can't think of one success story out of it. And please tell us which NBA player would be a champion boxer? :patsch Athletic talent is not transferable like you imply it is. Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player ever but was nothin but an average minor league baseball player how come his skills didn't transfer over to baseball??

This "All good American fighters are going to the NFL, NBA" excuse is an embarrassment.

Too bad Chambers didn't make the "right decison" and go to the NFL instead I wonder what position he would have excelled at? :patsch

Wlad by 7th rnd KO over Chambers.

It is worse than total bull****, it is an insult to the sport that we all love to say that mere athleticism is what defines a fighter. A good figher, more than any other athelete, is made from intangibles, so if Americans are choosing not to become fighters, its because our atheletes don't have those intangibles these days, period.

To say that a guy could throw a left hook off the jab because he has a good hook shot, a 350 pound offesnisve lineman would put in the training to slim down to 230, a defensive lineman would have a good chin because he is tough on the lines, or a any basketball/football player could excel at a sport in which there is no one in there to help you is nothing short of ridiculous.

You have to prove that you are a good fighter, it can't be assumed that you probably would be.

Having seen Chambers training, I can say that I would not like to be Wlad even if he is the favorite. Chambers is fast...real fast.

And I have to laugh at the people in this thread that are comparing Dimentriko to Wlad Klitschko. Height is the only similarity.:rofl:patsch

    It pretty much stops there.

I would never let Wladamir Klitschko throw a straight right at my chin. I think I would die.
    My brain would shut off.

Lots of people on these boards must have taken straight rights from Wladdy.
