Can't see Adamek beating Vitali no matter what, so I went with winner of Povetkin vs. Chavaeg, who I hope is Povetkin. In truth I see Povetkin winning that and taking some easy 'normal title' defenses before even considering 'unification,' if you could call it that.
It should be Ademek first choice, then the winner of Pov - Chag but I think it will be Chisora after he beats Fury.
These threads are such head scratchers. Most of the answers are just so odd and predicated on events that have not nor will ever occur. If Wlad is fighting in the U.S. next the only logical opponent is Arreola. He is simply the most appealing opponent for a U.S. audience. It is not even close.
there are some fighters out there who could make it interesting for a while, but, they are just too afraid to face wlad
If all of these fights happen Winner of Povetkin vs. Chagaev Adamek if he beats Vitali Arreola if he wins his next fight Winner of Chisora vs. Fury Winner of Liakhovich vs. Helenius 1. Adamek if he beats Vitali 2. Povetkin if he beats Chagaev.
I think Wlad's top priorities are Adamek, Povetkin, and Arreola. After that he should just take on everyone until he retires or is beaten. And when I say everyone I mean it: Fury, Chisora, Dimitrenko, Glazkov, Pulev, Helenius, Holyfield, Wach, Price, Boswell, Toney, Ustinov. Should be able to have a pretty crazy record by the time he retires.
I went with Arreola since I think its a good fight and is probably the best of the most likely scenarios. Adamek would be the first choice if he beat Vitali(which I think he has a small chance there) but probably won't. Povetkin-Chagaev is next if its Povetkin but I don't know if their schedules will work out there. Helenius isn't ready nor Chisora-Fury and Haye needs to pull down atleast one nice win before he gets another shot. I thought Valuev was retired so he's out.
Thanks. Great job in the fight BTW, utterly dominating win against a very defensive fighter. I meant to PM you after the fight but I figured everyone was going to....................... Have you seen HENDO's posts after the fight? He's a converted fan right there. :yep
Robert Helenius is the perfect example of a diamond in the rough. He has good technique, awesome power & so far he's shown a great chin. He's still a slow starter though & he's been inconsistent but I see him doing well against anyone not named Klitschko right now. Maybe he could be a significant threat to the Klitschkos with some more experience.
That's great to hear. :good If Wlad unifies all the belts he's a lock for a top 10 ATG ranking in my humble opinion.
sugar niko valuev would dance rings round wlad all night, no way wlad steps up to the plate and takes him on. Brutal 6th round KO for SNV.
Helenius is barely does anything in the ring to be threat to Wlad, who is too cautious to be KOed. Wlad UD Helenius any day and KO if that chin actually appears not that good as it seems. Finnish boxer needs to up his conditioning way higher and get used to throw punches way more often or he will get outpointed by any smart boxer with better movement and hand speed.
