I believe that both Wlad's gastank and chin is good. The problem is mental.

He said that he had to become a boxer, and his brother was a born fighter.

    Big difference.

When someone is thinking to much and get stressed in the ring, they use way more energy than if they don't.

Just remember your first sparring sessions, One damn minute could feel like ten. But with time comes experience and that beginner stress went down. Even when trading shots.

Wlad can't control his breathing when he's stressed. Equals: More energy loss, which in turn also affect his punch resistance negatively. That's why people believes he's got a weak chin.

Indeed. Probably one of the reasons why Manny was such a good match for him, he did the thinking for him. Banks is a good trainer no doubt, but he is not a boxing genius like Steward.

Wlads always been limited...just used his height reach to his advantage. People have said it for years was never great. just that no one big enough were nearly good enough. And the smaller guys couldnt get past his height reach advantage.

I think the fury defeats put klitchkos title reign in its proper context. Great career...but without the advantages he had that heavyweight allows would just have been a good fighter.

On top of that fury is underrated. Plus not one of the big guys klitchko fought were any good. Theres a reason klitchko was hesitant to throw...because fury made him. People saying just throw the right hand would have been watching klitchko getting up from the canvas. There big 18 stone guys. Exactly why the punch stats were so low. The both times either of them connected the other looked it trouble. Klitchko in the 11th and fury in the 12th. Thats heavyweight boxing. Not because wlad was 40 or had injured his right hand or lacked heart.
