Wladinir kiltschko vs Alexander povetkin super fight

This should be on the general forum. However as fan who thinks that the Klitschko's fought in one of the weakest HW eras ever, I would be very impressed if he dominates a fighter like Povetkin and would be deserving of the accolades that come with beating such a decorated fighter.

 

I'm sure that was a mistake.

 

Wlad will smash Alex. It will be a boring domination.

 

Big fight for Vlad and he should stick to his blueprint, use the jab, movement and wear A.P. down and keep him on the outside, Povetkin has shown a solid chin and the ability to cut off the ring and throw punches in bunches and I am sure he will be in the best shape of his career, another plus is Kosta in his corner.

Wlad should not look for the KO but fight his fight and if Povetkin looks ripe take him out. Povetkin should apply pressure and look to tire Vlad

If Vlad wins, which he should it will be a great fight for his legacy and a good finishing fight. I suspect he will fight Pulev and hopefully Wilder steps up his level and makes himself worthy of a shot.

If Povetkin wins its a a big fight but I suspect he may not be able to maintain the title as well as Vlad

 

Povetkin is made for Wlad, and ,unless Wlad has regressed considerably ,which could happen at his age, it will be a boring, easy win for the Ukraininan, so no change there.

Povetkin is about as good as Lee Savold.

 

Skill wise Wlad couldn't carry Golota's jock strap.

This should be a fair fight. No Wlad boa constricting his opponent till they have no fight left in them. It will be fist on fist. Thats if the ref is pro Povetkin and Im pretty sure he is.

Povetkin has the inside work to rough up the apple cart and can brawl him out of his comfort zone to get there. Without his huggy bear technique Wlad is as hapless as Mormek was before he went to sleep.
A good hooker like Povetkin should be able to make the most of his time on the inside to do some solid damage.
I like Povetkin in the upset but all depends on how much fouling Wlad is able to get away with.

Just incredible that a fight like this is termed a super fight. How much lower can hwt boxing sink?

 

Povetkin about as good as Lee Savold? atsch Do you even watch boxing?

 

Povetkin is better than Savold in every facet except dedication. Povetkin throws really nice, imaginative combo's, has underrated speed andpower and disciplined footwork. Remember, he had a very challenging run over his first 15 fights or so... and then for some reason, perhaps Atlas, lost his way a bit. Hopefully, he is shape for this one because he has the ability to score an upset.

I guess a real super fight is Joe Louis or Jack Dempsey going life and death with light heavies.... Or Ali clowning to the judges and getting a bull**** decision...
