You don't know much about boxing, do you? If Bowe can know out Holyfield, he can certainly know out Wlad. Bowe also had an extremely punishing jab. Don't let the Golota fights fool you.

As good as Bowe was. Rock Newman ruined him. Bowes defense did suck and he took a lot of punishment because he would walk through his opponents punches(ala Herbie Hide). He hit like a truck, though, and was a great interior fighter for someone so big. People never talk about how big and strong he was. I think a prime, in-shape Bowe could have man-handled and intimidated the Klit into a KO victory.

Klitchko TKO. Bowe was trouble with Light punching Holyfield and Golota " who i dont assess very high " was outboxing Bowe easily...and yes: " i know Bowe was past his prime, but still.."

You Wlad fans are delusional. His best win is Sam Peter. He has been blasted out by 3 pretty crap guys. And has never fought anything like an elite heavy. Ok there aren't any atm, but Bowe Koes him in as soon as he starts to land punches.

    excellent analysis.

I always thought Bowe was steered away from punchers in his career too.

Which I guess explains why Bowe mumbles incoherently..............

A good chin is no substitute for a good defense.

Wladimir would impale him with the jab a finish him with the right hand straight down the pipe.

Golota had decent power, Wladimir has elite power, better speed & accuracy. Bowe would get KO'd early trying to get inside because he'd be getting his ass kicked from the outside.

...............and who the **** said Gonzales was a great win for Bowe? That guy was terrible and he never did **** before or after getting KO'd by Bowe.

Vitali would have more chances of beating Bowe.

I said it was a good win. You have a problem with that?

Gonzalez and Bowe had some bad blood between them. Probably one of the few times I've seen a properly focused Bowe, regardless of opposition.

And Bowe fought well that night. It was a good win because of how Bowe performed, not because Gonzalez was a great fighter.

You're aware Gonzalez was undefeated at the time? 23-0?

Gonzalez was no world beater, but he was an OK opponent. considered a prospect at the time.

Widdow seems to think any win against an undefeated opponent is worth something, haven't you been reading his posts? ;)
