Most great fighters lose, its what they do after that tells the bigger picture. He obviously has what it takes mentally to overcome it, and he has with flying colors. It made him a much better fighter all around, even though that may make for some boring moments, he's still stopping people almost every time, not easy to do on any level in any division. The HW division is the most dangerous, one big punch can really change the fight in a hurry. He didn't quit and from that he gained a greater confidence than he ever would have had without a couple losses. Good for him.

 

That bum vacated the title and ran to wlads brother thinking lightning will strike twice. Too bad vitaly wiped his arse with sanders so we never got to see wlad doing it. But dont worry you will see your little cockney fellow english man arse ****ed by wlad soon

 

Wlad gets a ton of credit from me for bouncing back like he did when he was being viewed as a joke to the sport and a hype job. It's not easy for the fighters in those circumstances to come back and claw their way to the top, and most of the time 2 bad knockout losses that close together is the end.

Love him or hate him, anyone's got to respect the turnaround Wlad's made.

 

Coming back from devastating losses isn't exactly a walk in the park. Folks around here on ESB are easy to dismiss the character, determination, discipline and heart it takes to work your way back up once you hit rock bottom.

Wlad - any anyone else who went through the process - deserves a ton of credit for that.

 

:good Brewster was no bum. He had more heart than almost anyone who's stepped in the ring recently.

And Wlad has shown a dedication to the sport unlike most fighters you'll see. The guy has lost what, a half-dozen rounds since the Brewster fight 7 years ago?

And this says a lot for me about Vitali! Because Wlad was drugged against Brewster IMO from Fritz Sdunek.

 

Wladimir "Lazarus" Klitschko. Amazing how he has rebounded. I never though he could repair his career the way he has. It was not just the Sanders and Brewster losses. His next fight against Davaryl Williamson was also very discortaging. He struggled with a guy just wanting to be taken out early. It simply looked like Wladimir did not want to fight anymore after that one.
