Actually, Wlad wasn´t even KOed once. He was TKOed thrice. And only once due to chin issues. But, well, believe what you want. Wlad´s chin is decent.

btw. Joe Louis was knocked down more often than Wlad and he actually was KOed. Still a Top2 hw of all-time, just to put the bull**** into perspective you posted. :hi:

How many times has Joe Louis been down? I don't think he has been knocked down more times than Wlad.

Nice one. I really have the feeling that a lot of guys here on ESB have only minor boxing knowledge. So many pathetic postings and "overhyping". Both Ks would spell trouble to each and every heavyweight ATG. To think that the champs from the past would've a relatively easy night with them, is delusional.

    Wlads chin is decent
So apparently Wlad's 3 KO DEFEATS, to the likes of Sanders Brewster and Purity is BETTER than Louis being KO'd twice. once by Schmelling, and once by marciano in his very last fight. Great boxing knowledge your showing mate.
And for the record the Marciano is officially down as a TKO aswel, since your so eager to make that distinction.

But dont worry mate. Wlad has a great chin :good

also being down to the likes of Jersey Joe Walcott or Braddock or Schmelling is hardly the same as Wlad being knocked down by the likes of Steve Pannell, and being ****ed up by Sanders Purity and Brewster.

But oh i forgot. This is eastsidestupidblindklitschkoloveboxing.com
Get your ball sack out of his mouth for one second. All i said was he isnt top 10 ATG material. I know a lot of wlad fans who would incline to agree with me. Thats no shame or hating on wlad. Its just very difficult to get into that bracket.

I think louis has been knocked down 8 times in his whole career. Klitschko 11 but never ko'd.

14 times if I remember right.

    edit:
Just looked it up, Louis was down 10 times, once less than Wlad. Still, supports my argument though.

Wlad never was KOed. Did you even watch the fights? The only loss of those fights anywhere related to chin issues was Sanders. The other two were based on stamina issues. He punched himself out against two fighters his handlers, and probably he himself, thought would he would put away early. Those happened due to mangement (Purrity), preperation and tactic mistakes but not due to his chin.
Foreman was knocked out by Ali. Surely he has a glass chin, too.
Nobody says Wlad has a great chin. It´s decent. He can take a punch he sees coming even from hard punchers like Brewster or Peter. He can be knocked out, nobody denies that.

I don´t think Wlad is Top20 right now. I don´t think Braddock, punched anywhere as hard as Brewster and Sanders btw. I´m just saying you should get your facts straight, boy.

He was down three times to Peter, despite dominating every single round. Also Brewster took him out in the 5th, which was not down to stamina issues IMO. And yes i have seen every one of those fights. Even the Pannell knock down showed his chin is weak.

And you conveniently didnt respond to the point i was making. Are you suggesting Louis being Ko'd by Schmelling in round 12, and by Marciano in his last fight is worse than Wlad being stopped by those 3 and being down 11 times? Are you REALLY saying that?!

Besides, if you dont think wlad is top 20 right now, why not? What do YOU base it on exactly? Im basing it on lack of quality opponents (through no fault of his own) and being KO'd three times. He could break the top 10 some day if he continues his longevity and dominance. But thats my criteria. That was MY point.
Why dont you have him in your top 20 mister

yea but Wlad was only down to 6 fighters. being down in 6 fights out of a total 58 is not too bad. Hamed and trinidad were down a similar amount of times. But 2 of wladäs losses were due to stamina, not trying to say his chin is iron or anything its average, its not glass. if you have a glass chin out of nearly 60 fights you would have lost alot more and been down alot more then in just 6 fights

Wlad went just wanting to blow out Brewster. He set a far too high pace that he himself couldn´t cope with, so he gassed and Brewster took advantage of that. False preperation and a sh*t strategy was what lost him that fight, similar to Purrity.

I never said so and I didn´t respond because you obviously did not get the point I initially made. You can be a great hw despite getting knocked down often and knocked down often does not mean you have a bad chin. The only indication of a bad chin is getting clearly KOed. Something Wlad never was. Even against Sanders he was stopped on his feet.

Same reasons you have and additionally there were just more proven guys. Wlad is on the verge of greatness. If he beats Haye, Povetkin and then perhaps a rising hw who will later go on to rule the division or something like that - somebody like Boytsev, Pulev or Helenius - and continues to rule for another 2-4 years he will solidly end up in the Top20, perhaps even Top15. Top10 is out of reach for him simply due to the shallow era he is fighting in.
